If you procrastinate WATCH THIS (WHY you do it and how to STOP)

Losers are deeply unpopular in the present age. You only need to spend 15 minutes in a schoolyard to find out that children hate being called a loser. That is the power of the world, and a compelling social psychology, which bears heavily on every single person.

One of the most burning and enduring questions of the human race: does God exist? This article explores the psychology of belief versus denial, the evidences we use, and why belief might just be more important than ever before.

During a devotion that I ran for school children recently, I asked the question, ‘can people change?’, or more specifically, ‘can God change people?’ There was an interesting range of responses. We pondered these questions in the backdrop of Saul becoming Paul from Acts 9 onwards, when he was blinded on Damascus road.

Frustration comes from the humanness in me when people say they want God’s power in their lives yet refuse to buckle to His will. They insist they know God, yet fail to get the log out of their own eye. They want something for nothing, never respecting the law of God written in all panels of eternity, even to the irrefutable evidence in this life. If you want to be forgiven, you must repent by turning your life back to God, and show by your behaviour, that your attitude has changed. It’s very simple and remarkably effective.

Throughout history ancient people have created stories (myths, fables, legends, etc) to explain the origin of humanity, the universe, and life itself. Creationist stories involving gods and spirits are based on half-truths. Every culture or civilization, right up to the Modern Age, has taken parts of the truths and expanded upon them, in an effort to explain the beginnings of our species on this planet. The pure truth is difficult to ascertain since it has been obscured by the lies of the ruling elite, who prefer to keep humanity ignorant. However, it’s fair to say almost every culture has a piece of the truth concerning the origin of our race.

Several years ago, after living in Sedona Arizona for several years, we realized it was time to move on to another location. Sedona is an area that is extremely beautiful and abounds in spiritual energy, one of the most sacred places on earth. However, many people come here to live and after a few years decide that they have adsorbed as much of the local energy as they can for a while and it is time to move on and apply what they have learned while living there. My wife and I had reached that point and decided it was time to go on to the next adventure. I wanted to stay in the southwest, I liked the desert and my wife wanted to move to Florida. I never really liked Florida, the only time I had ever been there was in the summer, and summer isn’t the idea time to be in Florida.

Busy are we in our faith, so busy that we do not realise where we are. When was it that we ended up at the helm of the ship that only Christ is qualified to steer?

My hope is this article leads you to peace. We need more peace and joy and hope in this life, and Christ died so we might receive the abundance of His grace to the ends of peace, joy, and hope.

If we are God-pleasing disciples, if we have agreed with ourselves that we’re on the Lord’s side, and if discerning correctly is of primary importance to us, then we’ll exercise great care to continually check in with God, to be continually submitted to His Spirit – even if and when He causes us to reverse our direction for discerning wrongly. From time to time, we WILL discern wrongly.

The term critical mass is borrowed from nuclear physics where it refers to the amount of a substance needed to start a chain reaction. Once the chain reaction is established it becomes self perpetuating growing in proportion to the energy contained within its expansion. In social terms, this same critical mass is achieved when a sufficient number of people are willing to accept a new and innovative ways of thinking so that the rate of social change becomes self-sustaining and creates further growth of new ideas and values.
