A soul is indestructible. It must journey from one life to another; this is called reincarnation. A soul’s objective is to break free from the wheel of rebirth.

If you lost a loved one, you now suffer from a lot of pain. A person you loved passed away and left you all alone. Why?! Why?! Why?! There is no answer. You want to figure it out so you may wish to reconnect with them as it is never too late to talk again. It will be better because you feel like a crap.

I have a sticky note plastered to a bookcase in full view as I type these words. It’s a prayer. It goes like this: Lord, make me aware of what I need to be aware of in THIS situation. Amen. Now, I have another one just as important.

Our bodies healthy and active, our inner space infantile. We spend millions of dollars beautifying our outer appearance but neglect our spiritual being.

Had something happened these 38 years ago which had brought upon him this paralysis? Jesus had changed him physically. Jesus is now challenging him morally and spiritually. This scenario is not really about healing. It is about holiness. Two things were clashing – the religion of the letter and the life and power of God – traditional man made regulations and the presence and moving of the Holy Spirit – a form of powerless godlessness, and the might and mercy and love of Jesus Christ – bitterness or blessing – man’s ways, or God’s way!

Oh, what a mess the church is in. But it’s almost always been in a mess, made all the worse when men try to tidy her up. Today, more visible than ever through social media, there are sides of religion that actively oppose and war with each other.

We never know this truth until we’re stricken with it, and the very thing that smashes us apart is the putting of us back together. But oh, how rare it is that we’ll be broken to that point of submission to God. What sounds sadistic is actually the polar opposite.

It can be difficult to discern what God truly wants in this age or any age. There are disparate voices in the world and church, just as much as there seem to be conflicting Scriptures in the Bible. When leaders cherry-pick verses and passages to suit their angle of persuasion, and they oppose each other using the same holy instrument, the world of Jesus spirituality suddenly turns murky, even scary, especially when it comes to choosing the ‘right’ ethic to own and espouse.

The Spirit Guides are extensions of souls in a sense, and they are always connected with The Source of All That Is. They are our helpers in the spirit world. They come from all walks of life and many times are our departed friends and ancestors who have come to guide and assist us. Many times we have known each other through many incarnations and existences in the other world. It is always a matter of choice to become a guide: not all souls choose to be spirit guides.

“Then an angel of the Lord said to Philip, ‘Get up and go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza’ (This is a wilderness road)”. (Acts 8:26) It gave me a bit of a chill this week when I looked at our reading from the book of Acts and saw it opening with a reference to the road from Jerusalem to Gaza. We are told explicitly there that it is a ‘wilderness road’ – a term which, when it appears in Scripture, generally suggests something more than it being just another…
