The Life of Faith Isn’t a Picture-Perfect Life
I feel sad for Christians who constantly put on a show about how successful they are. They’re not living a true life if that’s all they present to the world. And they create envy in others, which is a sin they ought to avoid. Why would we willingly put others in harm’s way of temptation?
Stubbornness and Stupidity (2 Corinthians 12:1-11)“I know a person in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven-whether in the body or out of the body I do not know; God knows. 3And I know that such a person-whether in the body or out of the body I do not know; God knows- 4was caught up into Paradise and heard things that are not to be told, that no mortal is permitted to repeat. 5On behalf of such a one I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except of my weaknesses.
The One True Quality of Those Who Love GodHonest people are honest about themselves, toward others in love, and before God. They believe honesty is both the cherished means and the blessed end of life, and their whole life is oriented toward such obedience of faith.
Behavioral Genetics Findings Support PredeterminationLong-standing conventional scientific findings and modern political correctness dictate basic personality traits are due to environment, not genetics. But advances in behavioral genetics contrast with that theory.
What Reality Needs To Do To Prove The Existence Of GodAn attempt to understand the relationship between reality and magic. Moreover, an attempt to come up with an exact answer to why God is an absent force.

Living the Dream! (A Sermon on 2 Corinthians 6:4-10)“But as servants of God we have commended ourselves in every way: through great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, holiness of spirit, genuine love, truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; in honor and dishonor, in ill repute and good repute. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; as unknown, and yet are well known; as dying, and see – we are alive; as punished, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always…
Some Basic Spiritual ConceptsSpirituality deals with things we believe in but mostly don’t see and can’t directly prove. Acknowledging that your choices affect what happens in your life is an essential concept to understand if you want to walk the spiritual path.
A Repentant Believer’s PrayerMany criticise the so-called sinner’s prayer. This is a version of a true believer’s prayer.
The Two Pillars Of Life In Modern Day AmericaEver since the beginning of time, there has been a duality of life, good/evil, love/hate, light/darkness, night/day, male/female, spiritual/unbelief, etc. In many cultures, this is represented by the two pillars of life. In present-day America, the two pillars could signify the separation of church and state, where the powers of government and the powers of the church are separate but are meant to work hand in hand to achieve freedom and liberty for all. No society can long survive without the Grace of Providence, that was proven by the Israelites many centuries ago. Even in our own history, it has been shown many times how the powers of Providence, as General Washington would state, have created events that saved our republic. Many, many times during the American Revolution events came about that can only be attributed to an interference by some divine power that turned the war into our favor.
The Heart of Brokenness Is Brokenness of the HeartTo recognise the utter paucity present in our own heart is to recognise the most powerful truth that exists about us. The heart of brokenness is brokenness of the heart.
God Doesn’t Fail to SpeakApt are we to think ‘how on earth does God speak; does He ever?’ On the contrary, never is there a time when God doesn’t speak. I’ll use some of my own contemporary life experience and see if you can’t see your own life in these words. See if you can’t also say, ‘I think that also happens to me.’
