The world may reject you and pretend it doesn’t know your name, but there is One who never rejects and will never forget your name, because He named you from eternity’s dawn. The world may think you’re weird and not worth listening to, but there is One who, being the only true Judge, completely gets you and sits on your every word and dignifies you, taking your deepest desire seriously.

The gospel seems unattractive until there is no other way. It’s the way God inevitably wins. He does not win our hearts to peace until He has been to war with us; until we recognise that we have constantly put idols above Him, and finally having decided that it’s futility.

There are many reasons why souls decide to incarnate into poor underprivileged lifetimes. Few modern day stories illustrate the picture of grace like the “peace child” as told by Don and Carol Richardson, missionaries in New Guinea to the Sawi tribes.
