Unless we see that we are the ones with the log in our own eye we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Until we concede their sin is a speck from our point of view we cannot be healed and will remain utterly broken. Lest we see that, as far as Jesus is concerned, He can only heal us as we allow Him to, we’re forlorn.

Most people probably believe they are good enough to enter heaven. If you ask them why they believe they are good, they might say something like this: “I never murdered anyone, never committed adultery and I never robbed a bank.” Let’s find out if you are a good enough person to enter heaven.

Genuine spirituality is where the rubber meets the road, all else is just blind fear, prejudice, and running away from it all. If you want conjecture and fantasy without experience or reality, you have come to the wrong place. If you want the take of honest experience, well, you have come to the right article, I think. Although people may study the bible and look upon the parched ground as part of the landscape there are few who would see it as meaning the spiritual people of God. Those who have a link to the Spirit of the Universe, the real God, feel its power. It can run through the body as a sensation like water that fills every part or it can be like fire.

Over the course of a lifetime we absorb it, even welcome it, as the rubbish that makes us laugh or entertains us in other ways. Most do not realise that what they read becomes food and what they digest from it feeds into the body. They cannot separate lies from truth and their goal is to succeed man’s way and that involves riches and other inventions that are bringing the world to an end.

The one doctrine which had me in bondage for many a year was the concept of False God’s and/or the existence of evil. The inner turmoil that I allowed this bondage to cause me was at times intense and extremely damaging. I am so very grateful that I am a seeker, because I have been able to find my way back to the main highway of light and love.

JUST one taste of victory – one solitary experience – is enough to inspire hope that that hope can happen again. Even amid failure after defeat after relapse after disappointment. Amidst trials through despairs through trauma through calamity. If what occurs to us is juxtaposed with sight of possibilities, real events that have happened before, a future we can believe in exists.

Cynics say there is no evidence for reincarnation. Based on the presumptions and angry reactions we sometimes receive about the idea of past lives, it seems like some people don’t want any evidence to exist. Maybe they don’t like the idea of having to come back and suffer the consequences of their bad behavior.

ALICE was there in our midst, another anonymous figure at a community kitchen event. I hadn’t even noticed her. Then I was called into a room with her and two other people to minister with and pray for her. Alice was experiencing something very familiar to many of us. She was despairingly fearful, bereft of hope, utterly broken of spirit, shaken by grief.

This is an analogy of a day in that there is a period following the sun-rise called the morning, then comes noon, followed by the afternoon that ends with evening. It is how the ‘day of the lord’ is represented in the Old Testament and few have known its true meaning.
