Uncovering a past life is not something I thought would ever experience until I did. DISINGENUOUSNESS has its roots in fear within social constructs where approval is a more powerful need than telling the truth. Even at Bible study groups and other Christian community events, our needs of approval, perhaps in getting to know others, are far more powerful, oftentimes, than saying something right because it’s the truth.

When you are thankful praise becomes easier. Do we not find that time and time again the Psalms? Do you read the Psalms devotionally? There is encouragement and inspiration and motivation that is refreshing and renewing and reviving. Just this morning I was reading in Proverbs Chapter 24 and it was like reading that passage for the first time. It was so relevant and revitalising. If politicians, and leaders at all levels, would read God’s Word, so many of our serious problems could be resolved almost overnight. Why is humility such a rare virtue? Some might regard humility as weakness. Read of Jesus Christ the King of Kings and Lord of Lords washing the feet of the disciples in John Chapter 13 and learn something of the strength and authority which flows from humility. When the joy goes, the strength goes. It is Nehemiah who writes that the joy of the Lord is my strength.

The focus of your thoughts is a very crucial point to attracting to you what you desire. For if you focus on what you feel negative about, you will get more of that!
