If You Feel Like You Lost The One, WATCH THIS!

Have we not seen so many cover ups in governments and commerce and banking and in so many other areas of life where relationships had broken down or where sin had such a grip and hold that it was if there was no way out? How many lives are marred and scarred by shame? Having been in the front line of serving people for well over forty years it has been my experience to have come across so many situations where people were marked by shame. One lady used to comb her hair well over her face in an attempt to hide the depth of shame which she experienced and she would never share with anyone the nature of that shame. If only that had been openly shared and acknowledged and confessed and dealt with she might have experienced a degree of joy and peace. When man disobeyed God, shame soiled his relationship with God.

If there is one emotion which can ruin relationships it is fear. That may surprise you. Do we not meet so many people whose lives are ridden with fear or guilt or shame or embarrassment? When God created man, man was placed in a perfect environment. There was no sin, no sorrow, no sadness, no sickness, no pain, no suffering, no lying, no deceit, no manipulating, no jealousy, but things did not remain perfect for very long. It was so very good, for a season. No one would dare to say today that situations and circumstances are good. Fear had arrived. Fear can make us keep our distance, from God, and then from each other. Fear has some tragic consequences and can ruin a person’s hope and dreams and ambitions. We are dealing with profound spiritual truths here, and we must not hide from these nor run away from them as if they did not exist!

When Almighty God spoke to Zechariah about the birth of John the Baptist, God was serious. When God spoke to Mary regarding the coming of Jesus Christ into our world, He was serious. When God speaks, He is serious. Always! Not only was Jesus serious, but his disciples were serious. This is not an area for flippancy. When a man is dealing with eternity and eternal matters there is no room for flippancy or being superficial. When Jesus instructed Ananias to go and meet with Saul of Tarsus he carried out his task responsibly and seriously, and that is how the Saul, who was renamed Paul, lived the rest of his life. He was a serious man who dealt with the most serious of topics and areas and subjects. When God speaks He expects a serious response, so how might you react to that?

Recently I mentioned to a young man I’m in a mentoring relationship with that he was ‘larger than life’, and to give him credit, he was pondering what that actually meant. Later we ‘spoke’ over social media messaging, as he wanted to acknowledge that perhaps God was doing this work in him. This is what I said:

As far back as history goes, only a handful can be accredited with living life from a place of deep compassion. Jesus Christ being at the top of the list and few if any ever achieved the level of Compassion that Christ exemplified.

Mark 1:1 — The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. This word “gospel” appears about 100 times in the New Testament, so it’s important to know what it means.

Why should we consider Passover? Does it have any relevance and significance for us today? Yes indeed. It was Passover a few weeks ago and Passover lasts for eight days. This is one of the most significant events in the biblical and spiritual calendar and each of us should pay special attention and seek to understand what happened and how it is related to our lives today no matter where we are. So often we see misleading pictures or stained glass windows depicting a new born lamb but that is certainly not biblically and scripturally accurate and it affords and presents and teaches a very erroneous view of Jesus Christ who is called our Passover Lamb. These Hebrew people had to apply the blood to the doorposts. I cannot apply the blood of Jesus to your life any more than Moses could apply it for them. Each individual person must assume that spiritual responsibility, before it is too late.

From the time we are born, we innately understand that in order to succeed in this world we must strive for it. Children must learn to crawl, walk and then run. We must strive to get an education, job, career or start a business. We have to seek success. But what if everything we sought was already ours?

My students often comment that it is difficult for them to define the spirituality of their Reiki practices because they fear a negative reaction from their family, friends and others who they consider the “mainstream.” I have also had this same fear and have given it a lot of thought and spent a lot of time healing myself and others over it.

When you read the Bible, it’s always a good idea to pray – before, during and after you open the Word of God. The Bible is a supernatural book and you’ll need supernatural help to read it and apply it.

Do I have a destiny? Is fate, or karma real? What is my purpose in life and why is it so hard to find?

When teaching about God’s Sovereignty, there’s a wonderful biblical text you can use as your platform. It’s like a trampoline from which you can bounce to other texts. Most of what your students will need to know about the sovereignty of God is either stated or implied by the nature of it.
