The Collective Consciousness Defined

The Age of Aquarius is defined as an era of mass awakening and spiritual evolution. It is a golden era when all of humanity will be roused to truths long obscured and forbidden. Included among these is the oneness of all creation with the cosmos and its collective consciousness. How do these link to the controversial “Akashic Records” many mystics and inquisitive minds often speak about? Delve deeper and glimpse into the realities beyond the third dimension.

How Religion Shut the Door on Innovation

I’ll never forget the first time I dared to question my faith in religion. I was unable to shake this confusion as to why God created us with the ability to think independently, yet demand we not use it. It was obvious to me at an early age that such a gift had a purpose, leading me to the realization that organized religions have simply shut the door on innovation.

The Safety Net

Within the dream we are dreaming, A Course in Miracles (ACIM) is clear that we have a safety net. We seldom see it that way as we feel trapped in a world of our making with no way out. Fear and guilt overwhelm us and we look to the words of the Course to elicit feelings of safety while completely misunderstanding where to find safety. The ego uses the reminders of the Truth from the Course so that we end up quoting them to ourselves and each other in an effort to feel good, prove we’re right and ultimately safe in a world of terror. This approach is an ego tick that negates the practice of true forgiveness.

Do Not Overwhelm Yourself Trying To Help Everyone

Trying to motivate, encourage and serve those individuals will be like trying to pushing water uphill, you will drown. Therefore, to save yourself some trouble and frustration focus on those that do need your brand of help. Not only will you be able to serve those individuals better, you will also save yourself a lot of frustration trying to motivate individuals who feel that you are looking down on them and judgment. Unless you always want to be in a fight with individuals who do not care for what you do, then it would serve you well to focus on bringing your message to others who can benefit from your message.

Breaking Through My Fear

Recently I was invited to attend a wonderful weekend seminar on mindset & wealth creation. My good friend was going and I thought it would be useful and informative, so I signed up too.

How to Live the Life of Faith

Do you believe that there is a God? Is He visible or invisible to your optical eyes? If He is an unseen God, faith is a requirement. The Bible tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please Him. Those who come to Him must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. You want to live for God? You want to please Him in whatever you do? So you need to live the life of faith.

Why God May Not Answer Your Prayers: Reason 1

On the night He was betrayed, Jesus made an incredible promise to the Apostles: “I will do whatever you ask… and I will do it.” (John 14:13-14 NIV). What a statement! But if you know your Bible, you noticed that the above quote is incomplete.

Why God May Not Answer Your Prayers: Reason 7

We come to the final installment of this 7-part series on the conditions of answered prayer. When God promises to answer our prayers, He is not handing us a blank check.

Why God May Not Answer Your Prayers: Reason 6

In John 15:7 we read these words of our Lord Jesus Christ: “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.” (NIV) This verse contains two conditions for answered prayer: we must remain in Christ and His words must remain in us. The last article discussed the latter condition.

Why God May Not Answer Your Prayers: Reason 5

As we consider the fifth reason why God will not answer your prayers, let’s take a close look at this statement by Jesus in John 15:7 – “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.” (NIV) There are actually two conditions for answered prayer in this verse – we must remain in Christ and His words must remain in us. We’ll discuss the latter in this month’s article, and come back to the former next month.

Why God May Not Answer Your Prayers: Reason 2

We continue our study of the conditions of answered prayer by focusing on the often-misunderstood phrase “in my name”. During the last supper, Jesus told the Apostles: “I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

Why God May Not Answer Your Prayers: Reason 4

We’ve been studying the conditions of prayer, because God’s promise to answer our prayers is not a blank check. We must meet specific conditions for our prayers to be heard and answered. Condition #1: We must not cherish sin in our heart (Psalm 66:18) Condition #2: We must pray in the name of (for the glory of) Jesus, (John 14:13) Condition #3: We must maintain a lifestyle of habitual obedience (1 John 3:21-22) Let’s take a look at James 1:6-8 for Condition #4, which can be summarized in…
