ASTOUNDING is the power of much truth and the power resplendent in this truth is electrifying: the cross reproves all selfishness. It is impossible to kneel at the cross – with minds and hearts turned toward the Saviour – and not be transformed and nauseated by the sin that is selfishness.

Buddhist, Christian and Jungian ideas combine in this take on the archetypal significance of Jesus for personal development and integration. We can learn consciously to understand our shadow instincts (‘knowing our darkness’) whilst maintaining or enhancing our freedom from their total control over our actions.

The Israelites showed God their strong desire for mercy by making acts of repentance – fasting, prayer and giving donations to the needy. Jesus didn’t do away with that. He only taught his disciples to demonstrate genuine sorrow for their sins and not just do it for a show.

When Jesus died on the cross, he took upon himself the sins of the world. However, this doesn’t mean all will go to heaven; it is only those who have believed in him. The bible says we are saved by grace and not our good deeds.

One of the biggest truths we have to face in life is the fact of our responsibilities. Now, responsibility is a balance between taking too much responsibility and not accepting enough. God’s will is that we are able to discern, and carry out, our responsibility in our personal and interpersonal lives.

I was not someone who would have been voted ‘most likely to learn to channel’ but I did and it has changed my life. I am now dedicated to telling my story and sharing my experience in order to encourage others to open their own channel and discover their own truth.

In the beginning there was Space. Space is the highest form of existence. Space is timeless and endless.

Years ago I was tormented by fear. I was a new Christian in Christ but I was fearful; it seemed like I was running from something but nothing was there. Recently I recalled that remembrance and I asked the Lord why the church did not tell me better. He said to me how could they tell me what they did not know. I was delivered from that sense of fear and I have been for a long time but there are people today who are tormented by fear.

Are we spiritual beings? Are we these temporary bodies? Does life come from matter, or does life come from life?

It would be impossible to provide a list of religions and spiritual traditions around the world. While we all know the most popular religions such as Judaism and Christianity, there are hundreds (if not thousands) of other practices that can be called “religions” or spiritual experiences and traditions. Though most religions are seen as equal parts cultural and belief systems, they all have different ways of expressing them.

Just consider that meditation or prayer encourage us, indeed helps us to, “become what our purpose”. This is a theory based on psychological principles, and is not just something based on the ideology or theories of a few “believers”. And what is known, is that prayer or meditation offer us a chance to experience a relief of sorts.
