WHAT IF JESUS WERE TO RETURN, TODAY? What if this was your last day on the Earth? These are polarising questions that must definitely make every human being take momentary stock – surely. We would be fools, otherwise, to dispute the power of the mysteries of death and the life to come. Inevitabilities are incontrovertible. We die. And the end of the earthly existence will occur.

Being loving is different than being nice. Real love, from a spiritual standpoint, is founded on honesty, independence and integrity. Real love comes from a place of inner strength. When learning to cultivate love, one needs to see how it is different from being nice. Niceness often comes from a place of inner weakness. Learn to recognize more features to help you see the difference between love and niceness.

For the last 200 years, the glamour of human logic was extensively elaborated. Man’s inquisitive tendencies were deeply inscripted on the tablets of history thought the advent of modern value system as new ones keep evolving. Everything has changed. Man has been the core of almost everything under the sun and beyond gravity. But this glamour is now coming to an end.

I refer to battle with illness a few years ago as the beginning of a spiritual awakening. What would be for most people a challenge to overcome, began for me a journey inviting me to look deeper into the root causes of illness. I came from a family of “sick people”.

Almighty God uses the most surprising methods at times to attract our attention. Think of Moses, and how God got hold of him through an unusual bush fire, but his influential effective life began following that encounter, when he was 80! When God called Gideon, Gideon said that he was the least in his family, and told God to go and get somebody else. I am not the best you can find. There are better men out there, and that is usually true, but that does not concern our God. When God called Jeremiah, he produced a list of excuses and God would accept none of them. Being open to learn and wanting to grow spiritually, they ask to be taught. One disciple asks, and we have this gem of an answer. One request was all that was needed, and Jesus takes the opportunity to teach, and His teaching is quite brief, because He just wants them to pray. Not a lot of teaching on prayer is needed. Just pray.

Wanting to impress people with their assumed humility, human beings may take on a posture of there being no ego. This is pious egoism. Its tricky ways can keep us arrested in its deception. Those who wish to expand their spiritual vision understand this deceptive tendency in our human psychology. Self-awareness can help us dissolve that tendency.

How does Almighty God feel about you? How does Almighty God feel about me? How does Almighty God feel about us in general? Well these are ‘crackers’ of questions you have asked and I will seek to answer them as fairly and as accurately as I can. Many people will have very similar questions or questions of a very similar nature and there are answers, real answers, to these vitally important issues. The first thing that needs to be said is that it can depend quite a lot upon how willing you are to respond to Almighty God and what He desires and longs to offer and give and provide.

There’s more to meditation than meets the eye. From ancient to contemporary forms, meditation is here to stay. And now — in the 21st century – more than ever!

There is an opposition arising to the Church of Jesus Christ in many various part of the world and it appears to be increasing and escalating at a rapid pace. I am hearing of fierce and violent persecution on a scale I have never known over these past forty or more years. Perhaps this is one of the reasons as to why I have been quite clearly led to read and research the book of Revelation. He will have miraculous powers. Miracles will “prove” his power! He will do what Elijah did and call down fire from heaven. Never be taken in by miracles. Never be taken in by what people can do. One of the most highly gullible groups are the charismatics! They can easily be taken in by smooth words and the performing of miracles, and as you read this know that I have been connected with this grouping and have aligned myself with this grouping since 1969. This is where we really have to know the Word of God and the significance of the book of Revelation.

God has called Christians to live a holy life that glorifies Him. “Be ye holy; for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16). You are a spirit, you have a soul and you live in a body. As a Christian, your spirit is perfect and holy, born of God. However, your soul (mind, will and emotions) is not perfect and holy because it has not been made new like your spirit. Your soul is still motivated by sinful desires, strongholds of the mind.

This horrible figure and this beastly beast who arises from the sea, what will be his main task and role? One of his primary jobs will be to seek to ridicule those who dwell in heaven. He is anti-God or anti-Christ! That means he is one who is against Jesus Christ or attempts to act in place of Christ. It is important that we understand the exact meaning of these words. What is blasphemy? It is saying that God is not what He says He is, or it is speaking against God. Anti-God says, “I am God and I am equal to God and I will make the decisions, and I will make the laws I choose to make.” This is serious business. This is a serious situation. Do read Revelation Chapter 13 carefully and preferably prayerfully. In fact, read the entire book. It pays massive dividends to know something of what is about to happen in our world and cosmos.

Before we can “act” as a baptized, first we have to understand the Baptism sacrament itself. That is true for anyone baptized as a child, young person, or as an adult. Baptism opens the doors to heaven, however, whether the door remains open for us upon our death, it will depend on the path we’ve chosen on earth. So, if you are baptized, what are you called to do?
