When you look at the Suit of Pentacles, one of the first things you may notice is that Pentacles look like golden coins or tokens and that’s exactly what they are. As a result, they represent wealth, prosperity and abundance. It also portrays stability through utilizing our abilities and skills to their highest potential. Therefore, Pentacles also represent our financial security and material gain.

Often times when we are wanting to learn something, the material we need to study may seem overwhelming and confusing when there are various techniques and tons of dogma associated with a diverse topic; especially in regards to the Tarot. For centuries Tarot has eluded many with it’s mystical symbolism and divination properties that are believed to foretell the future.

Wands represent our thoughts and are associated with the mental plane. When we are interpreting the Suit of Wands, we must take into consideration that this suit deals with things that may not be known, as they may be on a subconscious level or have not manifested themselves into an expression or realized thought. So in essence, you can say, this would also imply things that are hidden, beyond the veil of our knowing in some cases.

As a Teacher of Tarot, I often times get a lot of questions about learning how to interpret the Tarot more accurately or if there’s an easy way to learn the meanings without being overwhelmed by all the information. As this is very much an individualized process of self exploration and learning, there are however some simple and effective techniques you can do to make the process easier.

Most often, Swords are associated with conflict and struggle but that is not all that it represents. It also entails a need to pay close attention to our actions and our reactions to people, things and situations.

Consider if you will, the Tarot cards being likened to a crystal ball. Each card represents 78 individual puzzle pieces that make up the “big picture” that is your life path. And like images that appear within a crystal ball in bits and pieces, the Tarot works much in the same way. Each card denotes elements, influences and energies that are at play at the time the cards are being consulted.

Interpreting the cards seems to be the one aspect of Tarot that people tend to worry the most about. This is the one area that they usually lack confidence in their abilities to discern the meaning of the associated cards and the overall general message behind the reading.

These are three absolutes in life which have been intact since the beginning of time. These absolutes summarize the knowledge I have learned and applied to create my business and reach people around the world and are tools which you can use for your own purposes as well.

Each Tarot card depicts a story within itself presenting many facets and symbols on many levels. Each card depending on which suit it falls in has a key focus of whether or not it reflects an emotional, mental, physical or financial (which technically is your ability to manifest your needs and desires) aspect. This is determined by the suit of Cups, Wands, Swords and Pentacles. By recognizing which aspect is the primary focus, this will help identify with other elements within the card itself.

As with most things, no two people ever see them the same exact way. This is especially true in terms of symbology and Tarot. There will always be varying degrees of understanding on most subjects and aspects of life. It is important to remember that we receive whatever information is important to us individually in whatever way we are most receptive to the information. In lieu of that concept, therefore know that tends to alleviate the whole who’s right and who’s wrong tug-of-war that is common with controversial topics. And simply take whatever information you intuit and utilize it to your own advantage; applying it whatever way will best benefit you upon your own individual path of understanding.
