In the last article from the Soul Master Handbook series, we explored the idea of Attention (Part 1 & 2), where Attention is the entry point into a deeper awareness of thoughts, things, and being. The deeper and more engaged you become with your attention, the more present you will be.

The kingdom of God is a kingdom of purpose. And it purpose is actually the purpose of God who is the king of the kingdom. However, the purpose of the kingdom is carried out by the citizens of the kingdom. Immediately you enter the kingdom you become a member of the workforce that is carrying out the purpose of the king in the kingdom. The entire duty of man, therefore is to both discover kingdom purpose and to fulfill it.

Misunderstandings about demonic possessions and exorcisms abound. Here are four myths about the subjects.

Not all that glitter is gold; it may look attractive on the outside but could be poisonous in the inside. The devil is a strategist but our God is the Master Strategist. Devil has been devising mischief and evil for a very long time thus he’s got all kinds of experience in his kitty to ‘shipwreck’ any life. Countless generals of God have had their spiritual jugular shattered just by thinking they are invisible. “Let him that think he stands take heed lest he falls.”

It takes tremendous strength to live a moral life, regardless of what religion we practice, or perhaps none at all. In his book Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis writes, “Men have differed as to whether you should have one wife or four. But they have always agreed that you must not simply have any woman you liked.”

Our description of heaven can make or break our desire to be there. Will we really live in the clouds? Will it be lonely and quiet? Will we know anyone? While earth-bound we enjoy being physical, relational and free. So the prospect of an eternity in a nebulous spirit realm can seem far from attractive. But is heaven really like that? Or should we look forward to a much more desirable destination.

Unraveling is the process in which we start to find our Truths, buried within us, underneath the stories of ‘victimhood’ and the constant questioning of “why”. Both are personas that we have, at times, become quite comfortable in and identify ourselves with. Unraveling is the exploration and undoing of what and who we decided to be once upon a time. A decision made during a time when we simply didn’t know better.

No matter how determined we are to stay focused on our positive attitude and forging ahead with our plans, there are always those days (or weeks) that just make you feel deflated. Sometimes these sluggish days affect you physically too – your body and your mind join hands and agree to throw a wet blanket over everything.

What is the nature of this energy? What is this invisible force that is running through every single THING in the universe including us? Can we define it in human terms? What does it want? What is it’s goal? What is it trying to do? How does it shape us? How can we become aware of it and perceive it as something REAL in our lives?
