There is more to life than what we can see or touch. What goes on behind the scenes is the most real of all.

Our daily lesson in the fundamentals of paganism. What you may not realize is that each of the days of the week has a sacred origin. The days of the week are named after four Norse deities, a Roman god, the sun and the moon.

What follows is a mirror to envision that you are so much more than you realize, greater than you can ever know, and all that you aspire to be is manifest within you now. People who attend spiritual retreats are usually far more advanced than those who don’t. I was raised Catholic and, while I like some aspects of the faith, I was always quite unsettled that my Mother and Stepfather were never seen as married in the eyes of the Catholic church because my Mother and Father couldn’t afford to have an annulment when they got divorced. We were really poor and so food on the table for my very young sister and I was a priority over an annulment.

We all need Jesus in our lives. Without Him, we will not make it. Jesus is the bridge that connects us to the Father. Our Father in heaven holds all of the resources that we need to make it here on earth and to make it to heaven.

I often meditate on what will happen when our Souls decide to leave this Earth Walk to return to Source. What will happen? What will we experience and will it be what we expected?

I want to talk about James 1: 22 -25. It has been quoted a lot by people who think that they are actually doing the word, to condemn those that they perceive are not.

Over the weeks and months and perhaps even years, we remember outstanding things we have heard or read and sometimes we do not remember and recall them exactly and accurately but we manage to hold on to that kernel of truth and inspiration. We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

Martin Luther king said: “It all boils down to this; that all life is interrelated… Whatever affects one destiny, affects all indirectly.” The Muslims say: “To Allah belongs the Mystery of the heavens and the earth…behold verily in these things there are signs for those who understand.” The Hindus say “God is the One who dwells in the heart of every mortal creature…the beginning the lifespan and the end of all.”
