The Bible says ”Greater is no love than this that a man will lay down his life for his friends.” If you are faced with the question, ”can you lay down your life for your friend? Or even wife/Husband/children?” Some of you might answer, ”yes of cause, I love my wife/husband/children so much, I will do any thing for them even if it means laying dying for them. Or you might say, ”this friend is too good to me, he’s like a brother, I can die for him.” Yet others will be honest with themselves; and give a no as an answer to the question. Jesus, son of God, had hard times dealing with this when he prayed to his father, ”father if it be your will, let this pass over me.” Remember, he was in a human form at that time, this shows us that, even though he was willing to lay down his life for mankind, it wasn’t an easy experience. In order not to choke up his children, God uses the principle of checkpoints. We can get a good insight of this principle in the life of the Israelites. Genesis 37:28 ”Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.”

As Christians, ”we” live by the word, Joshua 1:8 ”This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.” God has already given every Christian a gateway to a successful life. To live a successful, prosperous and victorious life, you need to meditate on the Word day and night, get the Word into your spirit, then you are sure of a successful foundation.
