In this age of technology and materialism, when many wonder what tomorrow will bring, the resurgence of spirituality is a normal phenomenon. People including myself are getting tired of being thrown a pill for every ailment we have. If you’re sad, we’re told to take a pill; if we’re having digestive problems, we are told to take a pill. People are being told to treat their physical symptoms with so many medications…and we don’t even want to go into the short and long-term negative side effects of all these drugs.

The spiritual path we must walk is unlike any other. It is easy to get lost while on the Way, and the lives of many saints are proof of this. For this reason we need a map to give us assurance that during our times in the wilderness we are still on the Way.

I have always been a trusting person… very trusting for that matter. This brought about a lot of stupid decisions which eventually made me accept that I lacked what the world calls “gut-feel”. I had to go through several humbling experiences for me to finally realize that I needed discernment.

There is much talk regarding spirituality in these present days but the type and quality and positive reality of our spirituality is exceedingly important because of its consequences and eternal significance. Jesus Christ taught that there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us. Spirituality is undoubtedly important and vital and crucial but the quality and type of spirituality has eternal repercussions of which many people are totally unaware.

What is a Soul? In my way of understanding, a Soul is that part of you which is all encompassing. A Soul is the vessel of all that is Sacred within your physical entity and that which is Spiritual Energy in its purest form.
