I want to narrate one of the stories about Raksha Bandhan, the Indian Festival. This one is about Yama and Yamuna. Yama is the God of death according to Hindu mythology, and Yamuna a river in India. Both of them are twin kids of Sun Lord.

Every time we reincarnate in physical form we make new soul contracts with souls whom we have met during previous lifetimes, or still need to meet, so that together we can become aware of our God Selves and merge the higher dimensional realities of Heaven with the lower dimensional realities of Earth. Prior to each new incarnation, every soul is aware of the requirements, conditions, and circumstances that he/she needs to manifest during the coming Earth years to bring about this integration of perception or transformation of consciousness.

In this modern age when so many of us benefit from the countless advantages of living in a technological society, the old beliefs we received from our parents and early religious training are justifiably brought into question. Is there a god and, if so, what does that mean for my life or does it mean anything at all? If there is a god and he (in most cultures god must be a he) wanted to bless his children why didn’t he dictate scriptures with sensible health laws that could have saved lives like washing hands after potty and skipped silly rules…

What’s in the frame, here, is intimacy with God. Besides being spiritually and morally obedient, we cannot hope to be intimate with God, and the LORD with us, if we don’t put in the time and effort to nurture our relationship with the Divine.

It is only from the dust of the earth with its spiritual equivalent humility, meekness that one can be recreated and enter the Garden of Eden to inherit the earth. Spiritual anatomy of the soul is to experience transformation, enlightenment, rebirth and unison with God. It is to walk in the light through meditation and prayer affirmations made from the Soul in full consciousness of attracting God’s will of abundant mind.

The the tiny mustard seed holds great religious significance for Buddhists, Jews, Christians, and others. Carrying a mustard seed or wearing mustard seed jewelry is therefore a common practice across many different faiths.

We all have the tendency to see obstacles as some insurmountable problem in our lives, but in reality obstacles are really only defined on how we view them. How many of us have giving up or didn’t start something because we imagined the obstacles that were stand in our way as some great big giants we can’t overcome. We miss out on life’s opportunities when we don’t know how to deal with the obstacles in our path, real or imagined.

Many of the people who are not yet enlightened are of the opinion that creation was done and completed millions of years ago and that was it. Unfortunately that is not the truth. Creation continues even to this present day in the entire universe were miracles are happening daily; earth quakes, new diseases, new information, new creations in Christ.

Having the Lord in your life means you have peace and comfort in your heart as you walk down any pathway your life has to offer. It means you can pray to a caring compassionate Father who always has the time to listen and never fails to understand the hurts and fears dwelling in the depths of your soul.

I’m entering the cafe at Borders, the bookstore near my apartment, after feeling the need to be around other people, order an Evian water, then take a seat at a table near the center of the room. Sensing a tangible energy forming at the roof of my skull, I sink deeply into the chair and my body suddenly feels paralyzed, heavy as stone. I look around the room at the crowd, observe the people sipping their afternoon lattes, perusing through magazines, and reading books. I’m looking at college students studying, business people meeting, and they all seem completely oblivious to my company–as if I’m simply not here. After a long time of sitting motionless, the heaviness wanes and I begin to feel weightless.
