God created the heaven and the earth, according to Genesis chapter one verse one. Now the heaven is the spiritual realm that is inhabited by God and the heavenly beings – the angels. The earth is the physical realm where plants, animals and human beings inhabit. This is not enough to know the intention of God for the creation of the earth. From a careful study of the book of Revelation, it is evident that God’s presence is in every corner of heaven.

The Bible tells us that we do not war against flesh and blood but against spiritual powers of wickedness. We must be equipped to win these wars and face the obstacles head on. We must put on the armor that God has given us and take up our spiritual weapons to defeat these forces sent to destroy our lives.

There is a battle that goes on in everybody’s life. It is the battle of the mind. Everyday we are bombarded with thoughts and information that has a direct influence on our thinking. We must do all we can to protect our minds and keep them renewed with the Word of God.
