For the sake of clarification, I will refer to the things we desire to happen to us as “the attractive” and the things we do not wish upon ourselves as “the unattractive”. When our soul is underdeveloped, we find that we are unable to control what we attract to ourselves, which is more often than not the unattractive. This lack of control is why we’re very prone to believing that the Devil has visited the evil upon us.

When I started thinking about this title and did not where to begin so I jotted down things that should be important to all. I will separate them into categories and expand on each one at a later date. Most of the children that I have been lucky enough to come into contact with are really smart at birth and it is only later after adults have changed their way of thinking and believing that we begin to wonder is these are the same children we knew before. Every individual journey in life has its setbacks that are dully noted by those who traverse the path. How ever these setbacks might have come about we believe that they are obstacles placed in our way to prevent us from fulfilling our life’s wishes as we desire. The difference between any type of journey and a spiritual journey is that there are no setbacks in a spiritual journey. Whatever was meant to be will be because it is not by our strength that things are accomplished but by the will of the Lord. That said we also have a role to play in our spiritual journey based on the guidance given to us by our Lord. We can do this willfully without consequences or unwillingly and make our journey a struggle.

James 1:8 says that a double minded man is unstable in his ways. What is it about double mindedness that keeps us from receiving from God?

The promises of God are many, and the ways of God are often called mysterious. The promises are general in nature covering everyone and their need. We know the promises but we are often not so sure of His ways.

The woman at Thyatira – called “Jezebel” by Jesus in John’s vision – was acting like many women, and indeed men, have acted, at wickedness, against the church’s objectives; that is, to disrupt the flow, work and commands of God saving many souls from eternal death. She led them astray, typically, in her use of sexual deviancy and broad acts of idolatry – to set up anything of worship, but God. She works, today, as a mistress of overbearing control.

Over the years, many individuals, dare I say – millions of individuals have bought and studied a book titled ‘The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.’ Whilst the book has useful information, I can’t help but feel that it is almost like gambling, with the promise of great riches if you put into practice – the secret. This Secret is in fact no secret, yet it does hold itself in an air of mysticism, and offers those who may have little spiritual understanding – the keys to their dreams. If only you hit the right number in the roulette table. So, in many ways its like gambling and lulls people into a false sense of security.

Morality is frequently subjective; be wary of conventional wisdom involving “right and wrong.” We believe you won’t ever be punished in the afterlife for many behaviors that are deemed iniquitous in today’s world. Below we list seven things that are frowned upon in many societies, yet won’t make you incur any negative karma.

Our minds are always busy thinking about things. We sometimes think about what all we have to do. We may think about what someone else has done. We may form opinions about others in our heads or talk back to someone in our minds. We tend to think things we really wouldn’t say out loud.
