It is really surprising that people are more conscientious about choosing an authentic yoga master than about selecting a tantra master. This is probably because there is a lot more awareness about yoga, its benefits and the correct forms of practicing it than there are about tantra. The mysterious, veiled nature of this ancient art of love and life allow fraudsters to make their own interpretations and sell them off as authentic tantra.

In non-technical language, subliminal music is the difference between two sounds of the same frequency heard at the same time. This happens when you wear headphones and the sound in one ear beats higher than the other. Assuming that you have a 90 Hz sound on one ear and another channel gives the other ear 100Hz, then the binaural beat that you will hear is the difference between the highest sound and the lowest. This would be 10Hz, that is, the difference of 100 and 90. Subliminal music and images are quite effective in personal development.

The “spirit of religion” is a term that is used many times today in the body of Christ. Often used in your more “grace-centered” churches, the phrase is usually spoken to point out an act of legalistic or judgmental areas. Whenever someone begins to base their judgments or their activities around a set of traditions and man-made criteria, then they are usually accused of possessing a spirit of religion that is in their life.

I see that in this next season many leaders that have been raised up will topple down and lay upon their sides. Some will be brought down by the Lord, and some will simply surrender their roles. Leaders in all areas will be replaced this season. Business leaders will be replaced – yes, some will be exposed by scandal and will face their demise, yet others will simply be replaced by the leaders that God has been preparing and building up for these times.

Copywriter John Carlton’s recent blog post (April 28, 2011) discusses how to nurture critical thinking. Basically, you have to use and nurture your internal BS detector, to tune it up to high, permanently, he writes. But how do you do this, exactly? There is no switch you can just turn on. What is this Internal Detector anyway, where does it exist, and what is the best way to engage with it?

Channeling consists of opening your intuition and inner-knowing. All channeling is allowing yourself to open up to the higher dimensions of yourself. Remember, we are one.

In our quest to move to mastery of self we seem to be stumbling upon many obstacles and adverse situations. The challenges we encounter in life basically occur in four major areas: relationships, health, abundance and self-worth. Although they are all interwoven with one another, each one appears to impact us in a unique way. A broken heart, a sudden illness, the loss of money, or being abused by someone may inevitably bring up the question: “Why did this happen to me?” The question is prompting a search that can never reach a satisfactory conclusion. Trying to figure out why things go wrong in life takes you on a spiral of never-ending twists and turns.

The truth is that very few people have any idea how deeply loved they are. The Christian tradition teaches that God is Love and you are made in the image and likeness of God. You are made from and are Love. You are Love Incarnate.

Have you ever worked on a puzzle without actually knowing what the picture looks like? You start off by looking for different shades and colours, and specific markings on the pieces of the puzzle, and then you find the matching or corresponding pieces. Eventually you start to identify the graphics in the background and you have some idea of what the picture is going to look like.

We go through life searching for meaning, and ask questions about life often. Does our age matter when we are looking for meaning in life? With age comes wisdom; is that really true? The meaning of life has been sought after and discussed for eons.

Does realizing your true nature entail withdrawal from the world? The way of paradox leads to the insight that everything is ultimately divine. Ignorance, evil and wrong-doing can be looked at from the point of view of expanded consciousness which differs radically from a moral position or an ethical standpoint.
