One of the mysteries that still intrigues Biblical scholars and followers alike is how Jesus spent his formative years. What did he really do up to the age of thirty when he began his ministry?

Prayer is powerful, especially when it is done correctly and according to the Word and will of God. To experience the joy of seeing answers to our prayers is really an awesome thing. When we know that we have asked God for something, and see our petitions being granted, with concrete evidence, knowing that only God could have brought the desire of our hearts to pass, our understanding is elevated to another level, realm and dimension, for experiencing the supernatural in manifestation in this natural physical world, is indeed tremendous and life-transforming. Answered prayer is an obtainable goal, if we will apply the principles which govern successful praying. One of the greatest ways to pray and receive answers is to find someone to agree with us in prayer. Agreement in prayer is when two or more people decide to petition God to meet a specific need, both believing that God can, and He will hear and answer prayer. It is vital to ensure that whoever you ask to agree with you in prayer is a believing person, a person of faith. To agree in prayer with someone who does not have faith will prove fruitless.

Any goal is fulfilled when you make it your focus. You must evaluate everything you do as to whether or not the thought or action will move you closer to your destination. In other words, you need to put your entire heart and soul into your effort.

Life is filled with so many distractions that it is difficult to find the spiritual whispers in life. We become so used to electronic means of communication that we have lost the ability to listen for and hear the deep still voice that comes from within. There are times when a message comes through that reminds us of the power and love of God.

The Apostle Paul said to the Corinthians: “If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.” This claim of Paul’s – on the surface – is either bold or foolish, or both. But, it’s a boast most worthy of the Lord. The article answers why and delivers hints on boasting of our weaknesses.

Who is God to you? And moreover, is your God a real, prayer answering, covenant keeping God, or is he or it just a part of a tradition you grew up with, and have never examined the reason why you worship him or it? The fact that there is a Creator is evident for all to see, and that without contradiction. God does exist, and this is fact that no normal thinking and rational person, who truly desires to know the truth, can deny. There is a creation, so there is a Creator. It is really that simple. God has always left His mark upon His creation and He has also revealed himself through the pages of divine revelation, The Holy Bible. And in His Word, we can get an awesome glimpse of his character, through the understanding of His names. The reason why the Creator has chosen to reveal Himself by various names is because each of His names represent and show a part of His very character and essence.

Is there another Jesus? Yes there is. There is a New Age Jesus who never died and never shed any blood for you or me. Do you know how many people in the Church believe in this New Age Jesus? They number in the thousands. Their Jesus fits snugly into their belief system because there is no accountability to answer to this Jesus. This Jesus is commonly used in sentences for ‘protection’, this Jesus is used in the Freemasons, he is also used by the modern church!! Bet you never saw that coming!

“At times, do you feel like you are about to lose your mind? Are you constantly on the go wishing for “one moment” to relax?” The key to maintaining composure is to never lose focus of your life’s purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 teaches us that God’s thoughts toward you are thoughts of peace, not of evil, to give you an expected end. God’s desire is for you to live peaceably not stressed out, not worked out, and not giving too much of yourself out.

Prayer is a vital part of life, for though this avenue we contact the Creator of the universe and receive divine help, guidance and protection. Prayer is talking to God. But it is also receiving answers from God. In order for prayer to be effective, we must learn the power of faith. Believing prayer experiences results, because when we believe God and pray with confidence, we place ourselves in position to get God’s attention and response. The prayer of faith is one of the most powerful ways to pray. We can pray for salvation, deliverance, healing, peace, forgiveness and for our needs to be met. Regardless of the need, God can give us his divine assistance if we will, but believe. People of varied religions throughout the world pray. It is in us to consult someone greater than ourselves, for help. It should be noted that the prayers that receive answers are the prayers worth praying. We should not just pray. We should expect answers to our prayers. If we are not expecting answers to prayers, then why pray?

The Bible in Hosea 4 verse 6 speaks of people perishing because of lack of knowledge. God is lamenting at the lack of understanding His people have when it comes to matters of life. It is not that the knowledge is not there, that the understanding cannot be revealed, it is just that people choose to reject it.

The prayer of consecration is the greatest prayer that one can pray. To consecrate and dedicate ourselves to the will of God and to His divine plan and purpose for our lives is truly a worthy ideal, for surely the One who created us knows how to bring us to the realization of our highest potential, and make us a blessing to humanity to His glory. When we sell out to the perfect will of God for our lives, we will never be the worst for it. Rather, we will be the better. To submit to a loving God, and surrender to His purpose is indeed the most wonderful thing in the world. God’s will for our lives as individuals, should be our most pursued goal. To live within the sunlight of his will brings favor and blessings into our lives, which words cannot describe. Don’t run from the will of God for your life. His will is where you want to be. It is joy unspeakable and full of glory, literally. For when you walk and live in His will, it satisfies you within.
