THINGS ARE GETTING SERIOUS: August Super Full Moon in Aquarius Cosmic Energy Reading 8/11

This is the End of the World as we know it. Catastrophes, floods, earthquakes, famine and wild weather. When we have a string of these ‘Events’ occurring within a short time we believe strongly that something bad must be about to happen and we have to prepare for the worst. Is change always bad for us?

This has to be every suffering believer’s wildest dream come true; that God would one eternal day come past each face in the land of heaven and wipe from beneath each and every eye the tears borne for the length and depth of life. This will be the LORD’s last word!

Turn a street’s water off and the water authority facilitates a blessing – people venture out of the sanctuary of their abodes and begin to converse… “Have you got water?” is the common refrain. Suddenly five people, from five separate households (some unknown to the others), are united in one purpose – to find out what’s gone wrong.

The arch fiend dazzled this couple in Eden’s parkland, with false light. Man has been dazzled and bewildered and bewitched ever since, but there a way of escape and deliverance. What we hear, and go on to believe and accept, can colour and direct the remainder of our lives. “Who told you?” The source of our information is crucial. That is true in virtually every walk of life. Who told you all about that? Can you be sure that what you are telling me is the actual case? Many rumours fly around and people are so gullible they can so easily take what they are being told as being the truth. That is a dangerous way to live! Try getting angry without first entertaining thoughts of anger. Try becoming sad and down without first harbouring negative destructive thoughts.

Daniel, now there was a guy blessed by God and maybe it had something to do with his unswerving obedience to God’s will. Even when threatened with being thrown into a furnace or sealed up in a cave with hungry lions Daniel was steadfast in his faith and belief in the power of a living God.

Beyond aspects of betrayal to all notions of disappointment, this psalm shows us once again the bona fide value of prayer as a process for transforming our hearts. A softened heart is hence informing an enlightened (renewed) mind, per Romans 12:1-3; one able to think as God requires us to think for Spiritual healing to take place.

The way to develop a greater spiritual connection can be discovered by examining the way greater connections are made in general. There appears to be some fairly dependable rules: consistency leads to greater connection; relationship is key; what you put into it is what you get out of it.

Antonyms are words that mean the opposite of each other. ‘Hot’ and ‘cold’ are examples of antonyms. Many people today make the mistake of thinking that being human is somehow the opposite of being spiritual…that being human is less important, less valuable, less meaningful than being spiritual. I’ve seen it countless times – people try so hard to grow spiritually, only to deny their humanness.

I recently traveled to Sicily where laws are disregarded as often as they are followed. Our taxi driver routinely ran stop signs, cars were left parked in the middle of a busy street, and people drove the wrong way on one-way streets if they felt they needed to. But somehow their society didn’t come crashing down as a result of this disregard for civil law. I wondered how it worked…how were they able to break laws occasionally, and still all get along? (After all, they don’t have incidents of death-by-road-rage in Sicily!)

I’m sure you’ve had the experience of meeting someone and knowing that their greeting was totally insincere….just words….because words were required….but it certainly did not feel like a heart-felt welcome to you. And on another occasion, you’ve met someone for the first time and felt an instant kinship with them…you could tell how kind and genuine they were…and yet they may have said the exact same words as the disingenuous person did. So what’s the difference?

When certain specific questions arise and when they emanate from various sources, that can be a sign of an issue which is currently important, in the life of an individual, or in the lives of many individuals. It can even be a matter is being directed prophetically to a nation or to society in general. Having sinned by disobeying God, this man and woman are trying to hide from Almighty God. Have you ever noticed that when people do wrong and misbehave they frequently tend to hide? When a dog does something wrong or bad it will seek to be invisible and craw under a table or under a chair. It is an interesting phenomenon. I saw the chocolate bar. It looked good. I took it and ate it, and on I went to develop my habit of theft. Almost intuitively they knew where the danger lay, and that moral danger continues.
