Become Irresistibly Attractive by NOT GIVING A F*CK!

Signs have two functions. They serve as messengers for information about future events and can serve as predictions and warnings. They provide information about your circumstances and they act as a mirror reflecting where you are in your life or where you may have been.

The life-transforming power of reading, studying and practice of the Bible is evidently set forth in the lives of individuals who are determined to live under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. God’s Holy Word, the Bible is essential for experiencing true success and victory in every area of our lives. The Sacred Scriptures are the Divinely Inspired Word of God, and amidst its various adversaries who try to belittle, frustrate and class the Bible as out-dated, it is a known fact that the Bible is continually proven as relevant, up to date and necessary for the advancement of civilization. To against the Bible is to a person’s own detriment. Oppose God and you will be the one to suffer needlessly.

People grow daily and when in a partnership of marriage it behooves the couple to grow in tandem, respecting each other with quantifiable love and honour. As a society, we have become very accepting or complacent of marriage breakups and even though Pope John the twenty third said, no man should be in a situation from which they cannot escape and have freedom we still need to be respectful of our vows. May I suggest reading and studying Isaiah 55, as it is quite appropriate because it is God’s invitation spelled simply proving his unconditional love for his children? May our examples not our swords teach others that God is full of unconditional love that he has promised to give to people of all nations.

In the previous dedications to the Commandments, we investigated the law as depicted in the Old Testament and their apparent existence because of a hard-minded people who refused to learn. The question today is, are we of the same mindset as the people before Jesus’ time on earth. The answer would be yes we are because our leaders have followed the retraction to the times of the law versus the teachings of Jesus. What does obscurity mean in today’s world so we may transform our interpretation? It means allowing freedom to emerge as it was intended to rise and desist with primitive mindsets that restrain others due to ignorance.

John Chapter 3 verse 16 is a well known verse but even in the Church of Jesus Christ, how many know what it really means? I do not think even in my early days that I ever preached on this verse. This is a very different type of study from what I usually write but do check it out for yourself, because wrong believing will lead to wrong behaviour, and dodgy doctrine will affect our deeds. It has been used as ‘a gospel verse’, but is it? Now, please do check all this out. What concludes this rather different study is a very modern translation or paraphrase, which I recently read, giving the sense and the meaning of John Chapter 3 verse 16. “Indeed, in just the same way, God the Father acted in love on another occasion, this time for the whole rebellious human race, by sacrificing his only Son so that all who go on believing and trusting and obeying him, might never be ruined beyond recovery, but go on having everlasting and abundant life.”

Try as we may to restrict growth we cannot stop it from emerging because our world is too vast for our mere mortal energies to possess the abilities to suppress it. Growth is a blessing from God, GRACE is the essence that commences within, and through experiencing the benefits and feelings, we then emanate towards others without bias, or signs of judgments thus we induce growth. Take too the example that to look at a woman or man with lust in ones heart is an inappropriate tendency because we are neglecting to allow their essence and dignity from merging…

Thoughts in the mind are plants in the ground; they grow if you leave them there, and they cause your mind to grow in the same direction. (Anon). As thoughtful as any leader may be it is historical reflection that the tangible results either illuminate or darken those thoughts. Humanity seems to prefer choice and when allowed this privilege through cheerful response by virtue of educated understanding, we favour doing the right thing almost spontaneously. The Bible when viewed as an instruction manual, which it is really, and not a dictatorial treatise without allowances for individuality, teaches us ways we may gently progress without damaging our souls.

The Bible has much to say about the subject of the power of effect of prayer. I believe that almost every religion in the world agrees that prayer is vital to an individual’s spiritual well-being. Prayer is speaking with God. It is communication with Him. Prayer is connecting with God concerning His plans of purposes for our lives and it is seeking Him to meet our needs and help us with our dreams and goals. Prayer is saying to God, “I can never be all that I was created to do, attain all that I can accomplish or possess all that You have for me, so I need You in order to be fulfilled, complete and satisfied.” Prayer is approaching God with the desires of our hearts, trusting Him to move on our behalf.

We can do more damage with our tongues than the worst nuclear bomb could ever inflict. We need to arrest our desire to act without compunctions and give love instead of destruction. Life is all about choices, and where we find ourselves, is the deciding factor of whether we may work or not work on the Sabbath Day. Therefore, if we find we have to work on this day then it is really up to us to do our utmost to keep it pure and holy and all done with a smile of gratitude. Just because we forgive does not mean we have to like, entertain or even bid them the time of day.

Knowledge is power, but the pretense of knowledge is worse than simple embarrassment – it’s contempt of God’s court of life. It’s the slaking of desire to the rejection of the will of the Lord. Assessments, judgments and opinions – put them through the sieve of truth. This is something we should be able to claim we’ve learned most of all.

The Ten Commandments are the cornerstone by which faith is measured but understanding them is not found in idle chatter, random researching or indiscriminate discussions. As with all knowledge, we have to seek it exploratory fashion as we would with anything when we seek its origin and also to find where we are going.
