My daughter asked, “Didn’t you get my email?” That’s when I realized that I hadn’t been receiving my main email account for over a week. This meant that for at least 7 days I didn’t notice that emails that come every day had not arrived, that people who usually write to me weren’t, and that I wasn’t receiving notices of orders from our websites.

Whining, pessimistic, complaining, afraid, feeling consistently disrespected, unworthy, and inadequate – this is the world of the victim. Victims are basically “harmless” if left to themselves. But the downside of most victims is their need to be rescued – physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually or psychologically and, as such, are always on the lookout for a “rescuer” – at work, at home, at play and in relationship.

Impatience can cause stress that is truly unnecessary. Our hope is that each of you take a bit more time to think about your words, deeds and actions towards others. Take time in how you react to your own chores and mistakes. Contemplate your moves before making them, not after the fact.

At Christmas time when the birth of Jesus is celebrated as thanksgiving for spiritual guidance, it is also a time for intuitive response in knowing that each has the potential to follow His example and learn to express all the zodiacal energies blended and exemplified in the Christ through supreme Love. And it is love that is echoed throughout the centuries, love that is valued as a supreme quality now and always, love that is pure, generous and true. Love is the core of all spiritual teachings and spiritual teachers are always anticipated to be loving, gentle and kind as well as powerful in their stability to know and live by the Law of Life.
