The bodhisattva in Buddhism is the one who, having reached the very threshold of Nirvana, refrains from entering and instead returns to help all beings reach the ultimate state. Shantideva, the 8th century buddhist scholar, wrote A Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life, or the Bodhicaryavatara. Shantideva emphasizes the significance, the importance, the rarity of a human birth from a karmic standpoint.

Often, when we first set out on the path of self-study, we begin with unrealistic or just plain mistaken expectations about what it will do for us. The unconscious wish that fuels this early stage of self-study is simply to become a better “old” person, rather than to become a completely new person.

While many people believe putting a pen on paper is the only way to really reach out to your Higher Consciousness or Spirit Guides, I prefer the computer keyboard.

Whenever I think back to the times when my life was a struggle, there was always an element of me trying to force something. Either things weren’t happening as quickly as I wanted them to – according to my time frame, or what was showing up didn’t look exactly as I wanted it to, and therefore I couldn’t see the value in it. There is so much talk about The Secret and the Law of Attraction these days, yet I think a fundamental element of the process of creation has been glossed over, or lost entirely.

For everything that exists there is an order to it. It may be a system, nature or just an idea but to all things there is a way that it is organized. Just by looking at the human anatomy it is obvious to see that it is formed in such a way that there is an organization to it. The positioning of the different organs is so calculated such that it is next to perfection if not perfect. It follows then that all things have their form of organization which when set appropriately can function to their optimum.

The metaphysical community is excited about the influx of high vibration energies coming onto the planet. As these energies come, low vibration energies are washed away from everyone. The result is the increased vibration of what is known as the light body.

You have something in you which you may not recognize as being there and therefore you cannot use it. This something is of immense benefit to you and others around you, if you find it and use it. It is a spiritual gift given to you. What is your spiritual gift?

We’re perhaps always hungry for spiritual growth, but how is it that we throw away good previously hard-fought ground to go after a new idea or thought that the Lord’s given us, forgetting what we ought to have brought along? Let’s not forget the previous growth we’ve fought so hard for.

St John, the Baptist is best known for his life as the cousin of Jesus. Yet it is less well known that in that embodiment he was already an Ascended Master. St John made his ascension during his life time as Elijah. Jesus himself identified St John as Elijah returned. There is a great bond between these two Masters.
