There is a part of us that sometimes squeaks through our ordinary consciousness, a part that is brilliant, insightful, wise and loving. There is another part of us that yearns to grow towards this “inner light”, to become it. Then there is another part that seems to fight this process. It comes up with all kinds of excuses, and creates complicated situations to sabotage our best intentions to embody to grow towards our “light” self. This article is written as a story that illustrates the inner dialogue, as the whole drama is crafted in our thoughts. This story illustrates the essence of the yogic process, the process of the ego giving itself to the inner light of the Divine in the heart. This story is an illustration of how this process is often meandering.
