Any chance you get to improve yourself, take it! Any time you have an opportunity to improve the life of someone else, take it! We are friends on this planet. All of us could be seen as family if you trace genetics and theology back to the absolute beginning of time. This is just a reminder to treat your acquaintances and friends like you would want to be treated by the most loving member of your family.

Friendship must begin in the look of your own reflection. Can you smile at yourself and see someone who wants to know, smile and love you back? Do you see someone who is supportive and not disingenuous or denigrating towards your efforts? Do you feel you have a calling to establish a church or ministry? This is not something to be taken lightly. People who experience this calling normally start feeling restless as if some internal force is plodding them to make a detour from whatever career path they are taking and start doing something else, particularly along the lie of religious or spiritual pursuit.

Often times, when people felt that they are being push backwards or being kicked down, they lose hope. They ask God why it did happen to them and started blaming God for every misfortune they’ve got. At the end of the day, they quit and decided that it is not their fate.

Indeed, this is Wisdom – the law of balance. God has established everything in balance. Pity not the folly of those thinking they can catch God out. It’s never happened and it never will.

Emerson is known to have said that sin is not just breaking the law, but failing to discover the adventure at the very heart of living. He goes on to say that you become a sinner if you are not adventurous, if you are not continuously in search of your innermost being. In the turmoil of life and the making of money and the paying of bills and the “following of our so called dream,” we forget that if our life is not an adventure then we have become mere robots.

The highway of the upright avoids evil; those who guard their way preserve their lives. ~Proverbs 16:17 (NRSV). For a chapter of Proverbs that’s so fabulously divergent on the surface, there is a smooth theme of Wisdom – God’s superintendent elect – overseeing all of life, weighing intent, plans, decisions and responses, and responding in kind.

“Knowing” is beyond knowledge. If we ‘know’ God, it’s more than simply knowing about him; it’s more about sensing his will for our lives and being in alignment with it. It’s deeper than head-knowledge for it has infiltrated the heart to the hands.

Diligence is the ability to carry out small task with care and precision. It carries with it some unique rewards, which are highlighted in this article.

Our night time dreams are gifts from our higher selves to guide us in our daily lives. I know that we all ask, at one time or another, others for advice, imagining that they know what’s the best for us. However, are they living our lives, are they living the type of life that we aspire to live?

Head knowledge hears the words of the Bible, totally agrees with them, and obeys them as much as a person is capable of doing with his own abilities. Heart knowledge hears and is instantly sold on every word with the difference being that a person sees something so clearly that it goes beyond mere words and sinks into their very being. They are so changed by those words that it makes a huge impact on their life.

God hears your prayers, but he has, through the bible, already provided many of the answers. In a world that is filled with foolishness Christian beliefs, unanswered prayers become commonplace. We ask but we do not receive. When it seems that God is not listening to our cries, unbelievers mock us by asking, “Where is your God”?
