Day in My Life 17/30 – Prioritize Beauty

I want to know Christ, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of participating in his suffering, and in this way somehow attain to the resurrection from the dead. Phil 3:10-11 As a child I was wild and independent, my parents went through great struggles to tame me, as I ran wild through the Streets of Villa Francisca doing all sort of childish things.

Some time ago a priest asked me to preach at his church, for his daughter’s third birthday. As I prepared the sermon, and took the verses from Luke 2: 40 (NIV) that stated “And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him,” and from Luke 2: 52 (NIV): “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men,” I realized one important thing that had been hidden for me.

Freemasonry is among one of the world’s oldest secular fraternal society. It is a society that teaches moral and spiritual values through ceremonies and rituals. The abiding principles of the membership are brotherly love, relief, and truth.

Being a peace activist is not simply a question of creating the absence of conflict. There is a deeper and more permanent way of peace that is kept naturally.

The wisdom of the ages lives within each of us. However, we fall into the illusion of this world and begin to believe that what we see is real. We have heard the saying that “you can be in this world but you don’t have to be of it.” But how many really understand that statement?

Everything in the modern human existence competes for the attention of your soul. For your time, your attention and your devotion. I think to pursue true happiness and to be a fulfilled human being you have to prioritize what you allow yourself to get absorbed in.

Lets talk about your mind. What is it? Who controls it?

Why do we live? Why and for what purpose are we here and not somewhere else or something else? Is all this just for our personal selves or is it all for a more Universal Purpose?

The decision to serve God often comes with a price that is hard to see at first. Serving God is a lifelong commitment not just through faith but through our deeds. Saying we believe in the Lord is not sufficient, our actions must demonstrate this faith in order for us to receive the blessings that await us.

Through the power of perseverance, you can accomplish anything. Through the capability given to you upon your birth, the Higher Power within yourself is the most formidable tool you will ever have. Find out why the universe will give you whatever you focus on.

Know why the world is in such a mess, and know that what Jesus Christ came to deal with all that is wrong and messy and sordid and sad and sinful. Whose words are you going to hold onto; your word of unbelief, or my word of power and faith and authority and victory?

Apart from hospital staff that work towards healing the sick – be it spiritually or otherwise, we all have a duty to attend to the sick in one way or the other. The sick in the spiritual world are not necessarily those who are physically ill or suffer from a disease. Spiritual illness could also include frustration, grief, disappointment, lack of faith, weakened faith and all other facets to life that are detrimental to our health both spiritually and physically.
