Spiritual awakening is the process by which we shed our false dysfunctional ego and allow our true selves to run our lives. We glorify God by becoming who He made us to be. The beginning of this process is for us to have a shift in consciousness.

Most of us long for our lives to mean something. We watch movies, read books, and live fantasies because something tells us there is more. It is entirely possible there is, and the message has been there all along.

As times of emotional, spiritual and even cognitive death come we can do one of two things: fight them off or allow them to just be. There are times for both responses, of course.

What do we expect to gain from a faith walk? Why do we take on this sometimes arduous endurance test? There are three main goals: to have a purpose, to find meaning, and to be free. The liberation aspect of Christian faith is rarely talked about because some people think that personal freedom is at odds with self-control. But the personal freedom which arrives at the end of your faith walk is not the same as the freedom you think you have before you begin. So what´s the difference?

Because I have hit the over half-way mark in my life, I feel a sense of urgency in wanting everything NOW! The Psalmist says, “Be still and know that I am God.” And James says, “Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” So I struggle with being still and doing.

Morals only exist from the point of view of others toward your own action and that becomes very destructive toward self development. Your sets of principals differ from your own surroundings; it is how you see your own.

There is a lot of skepticism around psychics and their ability to predict the future and there are some people who seek to disprove and discredit psychics.
