5 Things You Should Know About The NEW Moon (May 19, 2023)

We are incredible beings, and simply by “being” we are absolutely so powerful! It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, a politician or clean houses, you truly are shaping our world experience in this moment.

Some things are difficult to forgive. Hitler for instance, the atrocities that he put upon people are still echoing down the decades and probably will down the centuries. His Polar opposite as embodied in Jesus, Buddha, Krishna etc are, in contrast, easy to love as their lives were shining lights and millions look to them even now as embodiments of what we can achieve.

On a cold January day in 2007 when temperatures dipped below zero degrees, I looked out my window and saw my first eastern bluebird, the symbol of happiness and eternal spring. From that moment on I was hooked on attracting bluebirds to my backyard. I did my research and painstakingly created the perfect bluebird conditions for these brings of joy.

Welcome to the Month of November, the 11th month of the year. According to 1 Kings 3 in the Bible, King Solomon was told by God that he could ask for anything he wanted, and he would receive it. Instead of asking for a long life, riches, popularity, or power, Solomon asked for wisdom. He understood that the wisdom that comes from heaven is the one thing we need more than anything else if we are to be what God wants us to be.

God has commanded His blessings upon whosoever that abides in Him, and that includes YOU, who have taken the bold step to embrace salvation through Christ. When I talk about the blessings of God, I do not mean such things like gifts that we receive from people, the cars that we bought, the houses, clothes, etc. No, these things are just but by-products of God’s blessings in our lives – the evidence of the blessings – things that come as a result of the blessings.

As with all things, this is a beginning, a beginning that takes a start here on this little page! A beginning that is to say, only a beginning so far as something to see on this page. Nothing is really a beginning any more, as all things were originated in the beginning and we only rearrange things to be in a new look or new version of their being!

It has been the practice and tradition of monastics and spiritual seekers around the world for thousands of years to greet each new day with early morning prayer. Often before the sun breaks the eastern horizon the seeker rises from bed and performs a special prayer rite in a special place.

Having a St. before your name is not the only qualification for sainthood. There are many heroes and heroines, sung and unsung, and miracle workers in our midst. Let’s go back in history and work our way forward.

When denominations were forming in the 16th century, denominations often took their names from the type of church government they adopted. The names Presbyterian, Episcopal and Congregational reflect this. The reason this was done was simply because in general all denominations subscribed to the same theology, Reformed, their differences were found only in their church government. Today if these denominations were to again name themselves it is questionable whether they would all choose these same names.
