Our planet is going through changes (we are already up to our knees in the Shift, and there is so much fear surrounding 2012), we are still dealing with terrorist activities (been through an airport lately-there was an incident earlier this week!), and our economy is still in bad shape. All around us friends and loved ones have had their pay cut, lost their jobs and maybe even their homes and cars-and many Lightworkers have too.

The required quality of leadership at times is exemplified in this powerful but humble man, and these to qualities and characteristics can go together. Some people think it is difficult or almost impossible to be powerful and humble when it comes to leadership.

Dare to dream big dreams! If you lost or given up on your dreams, start to dream again! Pick it back up! If you don’t have a dream, pray and ask God to give you a dream and to ignite it in your heart. Then, go for it! The time is now!

Did these men really have sore arms? A significant salient comment by someone who would not be regarded as being intellectually bright or clever, made me think and examine, for therein lies an important lesson. From the outset they were going to be good spiritual midwives. All new believers must have the best possible start to their Christian lives. They cared with sincere pastoral compassion. No disciple of Jesus Christ went more than 24 hours without being baptised. Sore arms for the leaders were a minor distraction to what was about to confront these men of God.

Planting the Word of our Lord into the hearts of the people is not an easy task, considering today’s generation, where most people’s interests are centered to everything but God. And it seems the subject about God bores them, but talk about today’s hottest band and they’d straight away squirm with excitement.

If, on the other hand, we do things that do not make us feel so good, we recognize immediately that it is the wrong choice. Actions that leave us feeling guilty, ashamed, regretful, or remorseful are not the actions of our true selves.

A vision for a harmonious future in ‘nine steps.’ Each human being is seeking in his own way for happiness, joy, fulfillment and freedom. Whether one is hoping to achieve it through riches and power, or through pleasure and intoxicants or through spiritual exercises or searching for God – unconsciously or consciously every human being is a seeker. Some situations are so bad that if a vortex leading to a parallel universe were to mysteriously open up, individuals would throw caution to the winds and jump through hoping to perhaps live a better life there. At the end of the day one can sympathize as they probably feel they have nothing left to lose…

The fragility of our being is hardly conscionable because we almost know no better and we live like this existence of ours will last and last and last. On another level, of course, we know the truth. Who hasn’t been to a funeral or had someone close be affected by death recently?

“Time will heal,” we are always told! These are words we hear, beginning right back into childhood when we fall and first scrape our knee, running back home crying to Mother to find comfort and get it bandaged.

Many in God’s church are suffering. Some may be suffering from poor health while others mourn the death of loved ones. Still some may be suffering from depression or a lost job to even broken relationships. Whatever it is you are suffering from, just like Job, we often question what God is doing in our lives when these types of catastrophes strikes. We have faith in Jesus Christ. We try to live godly lives. We go to church on Sundays. So, why isn’t God helping us in our times of trouble?
