In English, we call him Jesus. This is a translation from Hebrew through Greek and Latin into English. Jesus Christ is pronounced “hay zeus kris tos”, and it is still a translation of Yeshua the Messiah. Why would the name of a Jewish Messiah have the word “Zeus” in it? “Yeshua Ha Mashiach” is how you would have said “Jesus the Messiah” 2,000 years ago!

Again we sit on the eve of Passover, and on the brink of death. Again the Angel of Death will visit Earth, but this time the entire world is his domain.

HU is the ancient and secret name for God. It is a very powerful word that has been used as a mantra by the spiritually enlightened for thousands of years.

As we read through Psalms 120 to 134 there is a developing progression and Psalm 125 could be subtitled ‘becoming established in God’. Almighty God shall strengthen you and establish you, so that you cannot be shaken, but it depends upon trusting in the Lord and for us in these present days that means trusting in Jesus Christ. Do take time or even make time to read the Psalm.

Discover what Paul was really referring to when he said that he delighted in weaknesses and insults. We were not designed to be oppressed by sin or sickness. God wants you to be strong and healthy!

Some of us appear to be picking up some of the dark energy of world consciousness, and it may leave us feeling a heaviness in our hearts. But even amidst all of this darkness, there is still a way to generate joy within our souls. We can do this!

Everyone is afraid of something, whether it be the global economy and economic job outlook, the war on terror, making sure you have enough saved up for your retirement years or your children’s education. The uncertainty of just “surviving” and making it through another day ways heavily on everyone’s minds these days. I really believe the way to conquer your FEAR is through FAITH.

One wonders what would it feel like if they were in the presence of God. Interesting questions to which I propose ‘what if’ scenario. If you were the creator of all that is, all that you loved, how would you divide yourself equally among all, so that you show no favoritism among the groups?

It might appear obvious after it is written or said but that is true with most statements. When a Christian is involved in advocacy, with and on behalf of the poor, nothing significant will be achieved for the Kingdom of God without the total dependence upon Almighty God in serious concerted prayer.
