Ancestral memories

I ran across an article recently entitled “It Seems We’re Comfortable with Untruth”. This struck me, and I said to myself, “unfortunately, this is too often the case.” It got me thinking deeply about how we tend to skirt what is obvious, what is factual to justify our thoughts, our feelings, our actions (such as someone saying “no” to something and we saying that they said “yes” instead—and we know what is their truth but lie anyway).

Every day you wake up to a completely new chapter in your life. A chapter that you cannot read from the beginning to the end because you are not sure of it’s content.

Faith is mentioned in the bible over 422 times, Faith defined is trust or confidence in a person or thing. The Christian theology version describes faith as trust in God and his promises as made by Christ and the Scriptures through which we are justified and saved. The opposite of faith is doubt, distrust, disbelief, and rejection.

Creator has a meeting place with man, and this meeting place is in the wonderful, warm sanctuary of the heart. It is a quiet, sacred place. It is a temple.

It is a most salutary thought to consider that we are called to be part of God’s answer to the problems of others. This is one of our tasks as leaders in the Kingdom of God. We are called to give leadership in seeking to answer and resolve the questions and problems of others. That is all involved in being lights in a dark world. Yes, it is quite a challenge indeed, but that is why God needs you and calls you to do your part! Last words are especially and specifically important, and particularly when they are the words of Jesus when He is at prayer and when He is praying for you.

This article is being written as August draws to a close but already that season of the years is being mentioned and in many places preparations are already being made. I am referring specifically to that season called “Christmas”.

What is the essence of man? Is the ego the true essence of man? No. The ego is the essence of one’s personality; it is how each individual interfaces with other people and everything else in this world. However the ego is not the essence of an individual.
