Allowing yourself to feel

If it wasn’t for Christianity, I might not have ever been interested in writing any articles like these. Christianity has provided me with a stepping stone toward spirituality. I can’t thank this religion enough, for providing me with the information that I needed, in order to make my first step on this long stairway to enlightenment.

Remember the story about when Jesus’ disciples tried to heal the epileptic child and failed? They could not understand why they could not heal him. They decided to wait for Jesus.

In our day and age there are a number of ideas about how one becomes right with God; one particular problem I see consistently among Christians is that they often wait for God to do something as if it’s not already been done or they act as if God is unwilling to fulfill His promises towards them. Many Christians see sin for instance as something they continually need to be forgiven of (future tense) instead of believing that Christ has already taken away their sins…

Sometimes it seems we draw so many negative people into our personal space. Why does this happen?

It is hard to reconcile to a life that sometimes just doesn’t seem to fit or work. Recently as I lamented my ongoing misfortune and lack of resources to deal with the situations that lay before me and I wondered, I truly did, whether God was playing this big joke on me. How can love be King? Is love a living force whereby it can become King?

If Creator’s two witnesses were alive today, what would be their witness? Would they witness man-made doctrine and dogma? Would they witness the prophets of old? Maybe what they witness would depend on God’s intent.

I suppose most of us have wondered what life is all about, is this all there is, is there life after death? Do we Reincarnate or do we go to heaven and float around on a cloud all day.

Forgiveness is the first step in correcting her. If I react before I forgive her, my reaction may not be representing God’s heart toward her. Keep in mind that God will correct, but never condemn.

We all need to show tolerance and respect for the spiritual path of another. The way we believe, and the way we walk is our choice. It is not right for anyone to judge us as being not okay just because we are not walking their path. It is our choice given to us by Creator.
