4 Hours of Sleep Is Enough

Let’s face it, Christianity is the only religion in the world that will guarantee you anything that you ask for. Jesus stated it in the New Testament, that if you ask, you will receive and it doesn’t get any better than this. If you’re really, really a good Christian and go to church at least once a week, there is a good chance that you’re already receiving everything that you could possibly ever want.

Eastern philosophers have known for years that our chakra energy system holds the keys to our health. Now in the west the new Laws of Quantum Physics has proven them quite correct.

Some say Jesus was the Word, meaning Torah, who came to Earth as flesh and dwelt among us. Therefore, they apply Torah (books of Moses) legalistically.

While transformation is what we are all here doing as we continue to express, expand and live our lives on purpose and out loud, it’s not the most comfortable ride most of us thought it would be. A matter of fact, sometimes it is just downright rocky! Michael Beckwith of Agape International Spiritual Center, goes as far as to say “Sometimes transformation feels like annihilation”, so powerful are the forces of change. Have you ever felt that way?

Can You Have Hope Without Faith? Like an arrow, your faith points to the target of hope. If you do not have faith, that arrow will lose its momentum and just drop to the ground before reaching the target, and will not accomplish its goal.

Who is like God? The creator of the heavens and the earth, the spiritual and the material, and of all life, is sovereign over all things. He is creator in past, present and future tenses. If we could not place our full confidence in him, what or who could we place our confidence in?

Generosity is a two-way process: both giving and receiving. How can anyone give without there being an ‘other’ to give to? Sometimes the receiving may require more generosity than the giving! An example of this might be when someone is passionately describing, in great detail, a hobby that you have little interest in but you make effort to generate that interest and listen to their enthusiasm with an open, friendly mind state that supports the connection flowing between you. It is necessary to develop this open, compassionate quality of generosity in order for meditation to bear fruit. As meditation is a technique to explore the mind and the nature of phenomena, it is necessary to be attentive, receptive and fully present.

“Seek not for riches but for wisdom, and behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you, and then shall you be made rich.” This is the way my brain understands this. Basically, if you want to become the ultimate YOU, meaning, if you want to progress as far as you possibly can in this life, seek ye wisdom. Wisdom has more value than riches. Riches are a bi-product of it, and in my opinion, a great way to gain more wisdom. Money is simply used as a tool to have more experiences….experiences of serving, giving, assisting, building, growing. Life is all about the experience of it. It’s not about how much stuff you can accumulate or having a home bigger than the next guy.

There are a number of tea ceremonies from cultures around the world that are well-known–Japanese, Chinese, and British to name a few. You may not think yours is very spiritual. But it can be, not because of the tradition necessarily, but because of the tea included in it.

This is a story of a family who struggled in their faith having a hearing impaired child. But despite of it all, they cling to their faith knowing that God has the power to deliver them from a trying circumstance. With a firm belief that He will provide. God turned their lives into an amazing journey of discovery of His great love and used them to a mission in service to a world of silence.

I have noticed that those who’re most interested in their physical safety are also those most likely to take an interest in their spiritual safety. I wonder, truly, whether there is a correlation. And the consequences for both are potentially catastrophic.
