Our Soul’s Purpose

What’s the purpose of our soul? Why are we here? Remember to embrace every part of you, because every part of you has a role to play in your soul’s learning.

Use Your Invisible Power to Listen to “Your Silent Inner Knowing”

Use your invisible power to listen to your “silent inner knowing.” In the “The Power of Intention” Dr Wayne Dyer speaks of your “silent inner knowing.” In the section of finding or discovering you purpose in life he says that in the quiet solitude of our mind there is a “silent inner knowing” of what our heart (our soul) really wants for us.

WALL-E, The Inner Teaching, and Christ

Taking in a movie is a very rewarding experience especially when I have an experience that I had not expected to have. Seeing the movie WALL-E on the silver screen was truly a spiritual experience for me! This movie is a brilliant metaphor for the mystical union of Man…

“We Didn’t Start the Fire” – God Did & We Blew It

There are times when I’m mindlessly listening to the radio in the car and suddenly my mind’s engaged–thrust into gear more like–to the message of a particular song. And Billy Joel’s We Didn’t Start the Fire (1989) sparked my imagination recently.

‘Knowing Me, Knowing You’ & Other Highlights From Proverbs 27

Getting to know some people is never easy, especially if they respond as closed books to our overtures at niceties or friendship. Not like friends and most family we don’t get many chances to make an impression on these people.

Five Tips For Finding Your Higher Self

Probably the most important thing you can do on this earth is to find your higher self. It’s the reason you were born, and it’s the key to healing and inner power. Many people talk about their Higher Power. It’s the same thing.

Life Lessons in the School of Opportunity

Passion Meets Profit

Our cultural conditioning steers most people to skip this process and go immediately to that fourth quadrant: What jobs exist out there? What have I typically been paid to do? You actually want to start by asking “What are my passions? What do I care about deeply? What could have me waking up inspired?”

Take Away This Cup From Me – The Cup in the Garden

What is the “Cup” that is referred to in the Garden of Gethsemane, when Y’ehoshua (Jesus) said, “Take this cup away from Me” and what can we learn from His example?

Experiencing Gratitude

We all have much to be grateful for in our lives, but many cannot see their blessings largely because they deny the spirit. Giving their attention to the ego, they focus on what is missing in their life, rather than on what they have been given to enjoy. In this article, I offer some insight as to gratitude and where it is to be found, being the heart that is observant and filled with praise for what is eternally available to it.

Doing the Will of God and Not Your Own

While Step Two is a realization that only a power greater then ourselves can help return us to a sane way of living, Step Three of the 12-Step program is the point where I make the decision to turn my will and life over to God, whatever my perception or concept of God may be.

Life and After Life

Lately because of so many celebrities passing away, such as Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett, to name a few, I have been asked many questions about life and death. Death is a universal experience. No one can hope to escape it. It is only a matter of time till it comes to each one of us and those we love. Most death beds are peaceful when the time comes and few go out struggling.
