The Second Chakra is related to your WANTS. Your “wants” the ability to identify and establish practical goals related to income, achievement, advancement, etc. Such goals lead the individual into a progressive state of unfoldment, well-being and satisfaction.

I want to give you a really super simple, but very effective exercise for “Waking Up” to your authentic nature, and true spiritual self. I’ve done this exercise hundreds of times myself…

I know that all of us can use some restoration in certain areas of our life because in one form or another the enemy has stolen, killed or destroyed something that belongs to us. You and your precious quiet time are important to God. The LORD loves you and desires to communicate his extravagant love to you through your quiet time with him. God desires that we go deep into him and into ourselves to receive our healing, his power, confidence, and our redeemed identities, so we may live capable lives – lives of truth and grace.

IMAGES are enticing, salubrious, and generous in what they give. Imagine the state of heart and mind when it has pictured two hands coming together; fingertips just touching. If we can stretch our imaginations to observe a response in us where we extend our hand to meet the hand of the LORD, in an enthusiastic way, we have begun to encapsulate the sort of thinking that delights God.

To all who love and pray for the peace of Jerusalem, God gives a special precious promise, and it is that they shall prosper. This goes beyond the material realm. The word denotes inner well-being, and a freedom from care and anxiety and worry. It is as we pray for peace according to this word that we can have a foretaste of peace within our own lives, in a very deep way. Peace normally brings prosperity. War brings adversity and suffering and sadness and shortages. I think of one man who was years in the ministry saying that he was just beginning to appreciate the real value of fellowship. His people were like a wall around him, surrounding him and supporting him, and he them! We were being reminded of this at a recent Conference I had the joy of attending with 220 men.
