I’m having a bit of an existential crisis about human action, here. If I accept that human action does not get us closer to God, but rather that God is in control of our faith, etc., then is there any difference between the human action that we take on a political level, or others?

We never know what happens to us and to others when we truly and genuinely and sincerely worship the living God through Jesus Christ. Having given myself to an in-depth study of worship over a period of around two months and having prepared five talks on my researches and findings and conclusions, I realise that I am only touching the bare surface of an area which we will never be fully able to grasp and embrace and understand. Worship lifts a man up when he seeks to give God the glory. God rescues us from anxiety and delivers us from despair and deals with any arrogance, and we come to trust Him when we realise anew that He cares for us more than we care for ourselves.

Many are unaware of the importance and significance of worship and by that I mean the worship of the living God, through Jesus Christ His Son, and in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. Our minds find all this too much to take in and understand. Over these past months I have had the joy and privilege of undertaking a fresh study of this whole area and theme of real sincere genuine worship and it would be an honour if it were possible for me to share this with any of you in a deeper and more profound manner. Recently, I have given five talks on this vital area of worship and I know that following these evenings we have moved into worship and intercession in what might be described as a new dimension. All this is for sharing and for ‘giving away’.
