Remember building your first bridge as a kid? Reminiscing on my childhood days, I remembered that a big, dead tree in the backyard became our bridge for many per-adolescent games. The neighborhood kids and I would make up silly rules where we would have to cross the bridge while doing something without falling off, and if we did-guess what-we were OUT! Or if we fell off the bridge, we would melt in the imaginary, hot, green slime or drown in the huge, big, angry sea. Oh, how our imaginations use to run wild…

In today’s modern church, the word fornication is almost obsolete yet it’s not so in scripture. A lot of people, especially the young generation may be asking, where is that in the Bible? In the scriptures, fornication is directly mentioned both in singular and plural forms about thirty-nine times. In the Old Testament we see reference being made concerning it four times. First, is in the book of 2 Chronicles. It’s written, “Moreover he made high places in the mountains of Judah, and caused the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit fornication, and compelled Judah thereto” (2 Chronicles 21:11, KJV). To walk with the Lord and satisfy his requirements, especially relating to holiness, it’s expedient to briefly explore a discussion about fornication.

There are a lot of people who are interested in Numerology. It is the system that places a number value on things and uses those numbers to help predict what will happen in the future.

Did Christ really die and rise again, and is this the only criteria to get to see God in Heaven? Yes…because Christ IS God, and truth of His Word is made real in His death and resurrection.

Throughout Isaiah’s Book of Comfort are numerous exhortations of encouragement for redemption. But here, in chapter 47, is an example of what will occur to the wicked; in this specific case, Babylon. What is the contemporary relevance?

Do you suppose the astral projection silver cord is there to guide an ethereal traveler home? Do you believe a physical body could die if the shimmering astral tether were somehow severed? Or do you just wonder exactly what that silver cord is really for?

Easter Sunday is the day we celebrate Christ’s resurrection from the dead. His resurrection can also be used to remind us that we, too, can die to the old life and live a new life of abundance in Him.

I do not claim to be a great theologian. What I do claim is that I have experienced the love of God in my life, and that it is available to all people, regardless of race, religion, or creed. It is with that in mind that I offer some insights on the nature of God.

God is doing a new thing in each of our lives if we abide by faith. Trusting the LORD will ensure we learn the ways of God, and the way we should go. Purpose and meaning are never more confirmed than in following this lead of the LORD.
