Why can I receive Communion at an Eastern Orthodox Rite? Why can’t they receive in our church?

From the time we are born, we are always on our way to becoming something. When we look back, we can measure our progress by the way our thoughts and actions have defined our life.

Could the wrong books be in the bible? How do we know what books belong?

Have you ever felt like you were in the belly of a whale? Many times I have thought about giving up and throwing in the towel.

All of us at some point or another have been asked or we’ve asked the question “How was your day?” Generally speaking people are well intended and ask out of their kind-heartedness and concern.  However, upon inspection this unassuming question can unexpectedly handicap our intent at conscious evolvement and trap us in our ego.

Is dogma required? Does a faith exist that holds the key for everyone. What is spirituality anyway? These are my thoughts on the subject.

Ego’s job is to keep us looking away from our Infinity and stuck on seeing only our limitations. Play Ego’s game with your eyes open – and win back your spiritual freedom! All you have to do is let go of feelings and pictures that are in that storehouse of Ego feelings and thoughts!

What is Advent, and why do we celebrate it? What does it have to do with Christmas? Can any body celebrate it, or is it only for Catholics?

Why do Catholics baptize babies? Shouldn’t the babies have a choice in their faith? When did this practice start? Can we find this in the bible or the early church?

Have you got to a cross road where you have given up on life, perhaps suicidal, destitute and disappointed with your life. Believe that it is just temporal and will blow away. Come to the House of God and hear His plans for you, believe that He is more than able to turn your situation around.

Faith is essential to our lives as believers. Faith is defined as the supernatural power of God made available through man, whereby man can transform conditions, circumstances and situations in the natural realm over which he has been given authority over based on the expressed will of God.

I had a man once try and convince me that electricians, because they are exposed to live electricity, are predisposed to mental illness. His belief was the electricity does funny things to the human mind. His logic had taken one case, perhaps two, together with a misheard research report on the radio news, and extrapolated that out to apply to all electricians. Could you imagine this guy’s approach to the next electrician he would meet, perhaps at a party or at a sporting event?
