Many in our world believe that spiritual growth only comes through prayer in church. God does not work for our spiritual maturity only in the setting of the church. The community that we live in gives us an excellent opportunity to learn to give ourselves to others. When we give our talents and time away to those who stand in need we are growing very close to a proper understanding of Christ’s love which gives. A film by Clint Eastwood made in 2008 inspired me to take another look at giving and sacrifice after the example of Christ. We will probably find that the relationships and things that really matter will be nurtured the most when we give deeply of ourselves.

The most common spiritual problem, for non-believers and believers alike, is pride. In no better way does Satan interrupt the otherwise free flow of God’s power. In no more direct a way is the gift of blessing swapped for the larceny of cursing. No easier are we deceived. What is or is not happening around you is a direct reflection of your current level of vibration. For every action there is a reaction. If you want to attract more positive opportunities, relationships and clients into your experience and into your daily life then you must make some changes. What you put out into the Universe is what you are getting back.

As members of the Perfect Liberty Church (PL), when we use the word “God”, we mean the creator of the universe; the totality of everything; the energy of the universe or the cosmic consciousness. We also believe God does not have a human form and is amorphous. In PL we say all human beings are God’s children.

Where to start is not so much the question. Journeying through the Bible, in our quest to know God, is simply committing to reading, exploring, and searching the Scriptures. It’s about learning to hear God’s voice through the words as we read, letting them speak into our lives.

The ego appears to be a complex web of beliefs, ideas, concepts and images that we believe we are. In its dysfunction, the ego can be a negative voice in our head that would have us believe that we are separate from Love.   The ego attempts to mask the truth of who we are by telling us that we are not enough, that we’re incomplete and fragmented.

I truly appreciate that God gave me an opportunity to fully understand and practice the line in my Mioshie. Sometimes we need a shock to clearly realise our bad habits so that we can change them and improve our lives.

It’s a horrible state of affairs when we hear of people, especially in a church context, being criticised for being “too” spiritual. Can there be such a thing? If someone is genuinely passionate about their spirituality they will be passionate about others’ spirituality, also. And love will be the winner. Anything falling short of love is not genuine spirituality, but maybe pretence. Nobody is perfect.

Being at peace with you is the key to being able to discern ego-mind chatter with that of Angels. To think clearly it is essential to be well grounded. Thinking clearly is the ability to reach through fear and doubt.

The angel guides tell me that we are shifting into a new paradigm. We have been living in a competitive world where we are distanced from others. We have been expected to stand on our own two feet and individually take care of ourselves.
