I keep hearing that we are not perfect and I must disagree. Each of us is being the best person we know how to be, at the present moment, with the information we have, and I believe that makes us perfect. We don’t always like everything about ourselves or our lives, which is a catalyst for change.

Devout Catholics have followed a tradition that goes back thousands of years. They acquire a circular strand of beads/gemstones called Rosary beads. The beads are used by the individual to count off prayers, and decades while the rosary is being recited.

So many believers in Christ Jesus are having problems living the christian life on a real, practical, day by day basis. They are struggling with all kinds of bad habits, insecure mind-sets and attitudes, and hurts and wounds of past relationships and friendships. Maybe you are one of them. We are facing a very, very challenging time. Evil seems to be abounding on every hand. The world has changed, and the person who does not see this simply does not want to see it. The world’s system is getting worse and worse. Problems abound and governments seem clueless as to the solutions necessary to turn the downward trend of civilization back to an upward trend of success and achievement. While this is going on, it appears as if we who follow the Lord Jesus Christ are being constantly bombarded with temptations of lust, fear, and unforgiveness, and many are succumbing to the pressures of the enemy, lured away because of the weakness of the flesh.

The better we understand Nature, the more we appreciate how natural patterns reveal the wisdom and love of God’s Laws. Nature is God’s creation, and Nature therefore exudes God’s glory. Natural laws and patterns display the laws and patterns of human existence. For example, the thoughts, words and actions of man are akin to seeds which are sown. Spending time in Nature truly allows us to commune with God, for God beautifully demonstrates His Word through His Works. He communicates with our minds, hearts and spirits through His Masterpiece.

As we live purposefully, it is helpful to gauge the extent to which our personas are centered…or fragmented. We have all encountered people who seem to morph depending on the crowd surrounding them or depending on their current circumstances. The traits and values they display in one moment easily shift into the next. Each one of us, on some level, has experienced this firsthand in our own lives. Although some claim that being mutable to please others is a positive thing, this mutability is not Biblical nor does it allow healthy, rewarding and purposeful living.The more firmly fixed upon the unchanging Truth of God’s Word, the more clearly centered we are in our lives…and in our journeys. As we grow centered and solid in the boundaries of who we are, we become clear in our direction, vivid in our vision, purposeful in our path.

Building on that if there is a creator and a creative force that exists within the universe instead of the creator being ‘out there’ and us ‘in here’ perhaps all life are individual expressions of the creator attempting to experience its own creation through our eyes.
