Three Steps for a Healthy Spiritual Life
A healthy spiritual life needs an environment that encourages people to pursue faith through asking questions about God, encountering people of compassion, and who are taught about submission and obedience to Jesus. In such an environment people can practice the three-legged stool disciplines and grow in the grace and mercy of the savior.
Views of Everyday EternityOur relationships with God, others, and ourselves – with life – always carry about them aspects of eternity; the ‘everyday’ issuing compelling evidence of an echo-through-the-age that resounds via the acts and inaction we engage in… the subject is the fact of eternity in our everyday experience. That is, the fact of God in the humdrum phenomena of life; the Lord of life interested and involved in every little thing.
I and Me Are Different RealitiesIt is often assumed when speaking of I or me that they are the same thing and we only use I or me depending on the correct grammar context. But I and me are different states of our being.
My Purpose and His PurposeMany of us live each day one at a time. Without a clear and concise idea of the future that is ahead of us. No priorities. No goals. Just enjoying the benefits of life as it comes. But really? Why are we here? What do we need to accomplish before we go to what other’s would say as the “next life”? What is our purpose? Do we live only for ourselves? Or are we here for a better plan?
How To Interpret Your Karmic NumberThe karmic number or the karmic lesson refers to the numbers that are not found in your name. These are the lessons that you have to learn. The Crocodile Hunter Decoded With Bazi AnalysisLike many people, I was surprised and saddened by the sudden death of Steve Irwin, the famous ‘Crocodile Hunter’. I was teaching a BaZi class in Singapore when I received an SMS during the tea break about the tragic event. Many people in the class also got the same news and students began bombarding me with questions about Steve Irwin’s BaZi.
Waiting Patiently for the Lord and Seeing His FaceThe Psalmist is letting us in on a great secret, if we have ears to hear and eyes to see. He is telling us about how he waited patiently for the Lord, which is another way of saying he believed with conviction that God was good, and righteous, and compassionate, and holy, and as a result God would answer his request. The Psalmist tells us that because of his firm conviction, shown through his patience, the Lord turns to him. What a wonderful image! Before this, he experienced God as having turned his back to him, but now the Lord turns and shows him his face. He sees for the first time that the God he was introduced to by the leaders of Israel was a false God, and for the first time in his life he meets the true God of Israel, the Lord.
Never Underestimate The Purpose of The Heart ChakraThere are so many books out there about Chakras, all full of the most amazing wisdom. Yet sometimes that wisdom can be downloaded from the Spirit World in seconds, but those seconds make a big difference to your life especially when the message is so simple. One of the things I like about working with my Guide, Amos, is that he keeps everything straightforward and down-to-earth. I can use that wisdom easily and effectively, more importantly – instantly. Here are some of the thoughts about the Heart Chakra that I’ve downloaded recently. Hope they help.
If A Tree Falls In A Forest And No One Is There, Does It Make A Noise? This article explains the age old question about noise existing in the absence of humans. I explain how even the other flora and fauna in the forest would perceive the sound, even though they may not have ears to hear.
A Perfect HeartA Maziah was a great king of Israel whose life reveals many things. The Bible says that he did what was right before God but not with a prefect heart (2 Chronicles 25:1-2). In other words, he did the right things but not with loyalty. It is possible to do all the right things and still not get God’s approval because of the wrong attitude or motive.
Discovering Organic Church Life: God’s Eternal PurposeWe want to give consideration to the following questions, “What is God’s eternal purpose? Does the Bible reveal such a concept?” As a matter of fact it does, but when one’s ‘doctrinal perception’ is in a different place, it’s easy to simply ‘read over the top of it’ without really comprehending what’s being communicated.
Out of Egypt Out of BondageIn the biblical account of the Exodus, Moses leads a multitude out of Egypt. This multitude followed Moses for 40 years, wandering in the desert being cleansed and made ready to receive the things that God had promised to Abraham, Issac and Jacob. I touched on something in my last article, What Color or Race Are Gods Chosen People, that was purely speculation on my part.
