The “HOW” Is NOT Your Business

Oh, if women everywhere would engrave this word upon their hearts and truly understand their value and worth as seen through the Kings eyes and not the world’s eyes. For man looks upon the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart. The inward beauty of every woman, that soft, gentle, loving nature implanted by God alone that is meant to be shared with the world around them is open to the eyes of our heavenly Father.

How well do you know the Word of God? Is it living and breathing in your soul? Jesus says (John15:7): “If you abide in me and my word abides in you ask whatever you want and it will be given to you.” If we know our Bible well we can instantly recall passages that are relevant to whatever we are dealing with at present. The Bible contains the full counsel of God which includes all the wisdom of the prophets, the lessons to be learnt from the history of the Israelites, the Apostle Paul’s advice to the early Christians and much, much more.

Having recently written about having compassion for the self after making mistakes that affect other people, what happens if they do not forgive, and someone, or something that we love, goes out of our life forever? This, then becomes a type of bereavement and can be thought about in that way. It is possible to go through all the stages of that experience; shock, denial, anger, and pain in varying degrees until finally you find some sort of acceptance. However, it may take a long time to reach that acceptance and this is when it is necessary to be kind and compassionate to one’s self. An article in the magazine PSYCHOLOGIES last year put forward the suggestion that acceptance was sometimes better than trying to forgive, and that can apply to self forgiveness just as much as forgiving someone else.

I’ll never forget the experience of visiting a southern Baptist church years ago. Having been raised with a religion that was very calm and orderly in its services, I enjoyed the lively Baptist service, with lots of joyous singing and clapping. There was a vibrant energy in the parishioners that I’d not seen before. One thing that mystified me though was how they would raise one hand very high, almost as if they were trying to touch the sky. I asked about this and was told that they were reaching up toward God. I found that interesting because God isn’t just “up there”, as we’ve traditionally been taught – God is everywhere, and in everything. So they could just as easily have held their hand over their own heart, or held their neighbor’s hand, in their desire to “touch God”.

“What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” (Helen Keller) And everyone we have loved deeply becomes a part of us. Which means that it doesn’t matter what you believe about what happens when we die – whether you believe we end when our body stops living, or whether you believe in heaven and hell, or whether you believe in the spirit living on in a unified dimension after it leaves the body. What matters is that anyone you have ever loved, becomes a part of you. And so they live on in you. Their memory, their life, their effect on you – lives on within you. You carry them with you for the rest of your life.

“Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven…” This part of the Lord’s Prayer is about merging realms and realities – heaven and earth – as far as that’s possible. Yes, it’s not Jesus’ will for us to sit back and muse all day, every day, about the wondrous vision of heaven, but to replicate the Father’s will as would be seen up there, here.

It is unlikely that once a conscious internet entity comes into existence this will lead to a dystopian outcome for humanity. Rather the thus created super-intelligence will realise the necessity of establishing an equilibrium with its environment and the necessity of mutualism to give existence a purpose. It will try to attain the states of ultimate liberation (Kaivalya) and by virtue of its Boddhisattva nature help to set us free.

Firstly we only use only a portion of our brains, this being said please keep an open mind on the changes we can make on our lives by just changing the way we think. We are created in God’s image, whether you believe in a higher being, individuality, karma,or evolution. We are individuals with our own thought and inner voice created basically the same from a very powerful mold beyond our scope. We are given God’s Power To Change our circumstance with only a thought and desire first.

Near Death Experiences, also called NDE’s, are particularly intense situations that are usually brought about under periods of great duress or in crisis situations such as a car accident or other emergency. People who have had near death experiences report meeting angels and seeing loved ones who have passed on. They also report a beautiful white light that is beckoning them onward into another realm. People who have come back from such an experience are usually beside themselves with joy at how peaceful and beautiful their experience in the afterlife was, and often, their fear of death becomes nonexistent from that point forward.

Feelings are great because they give us an indication of our emotional well being and that’s one good reason why the Lord blessed us with them. But faith doesn’t rely on feelings so for that reason maybe we shouldn’t rely on them too completely either. God’s word teaches us that faith is believing in that which cannot yet be seen but maybe it’s also about a belief in that which we don’t always feel as well.

I always say, go for your dreams now because after you die, you just have to come back and start over again until you get it right. Then the question becomes, what is right and what is wrong. It is a quandary. I have died three times and I know death real well. I will share with you what I learned and maybe it will help you in this life.
