Every individual on planet earth is on a spiritual voyage. This journey is quite complex, as it requires some form of spiritual guidance. In this article, I will be revealing two of such keys that are needed in our journey.

No matter what your belief system is of how you came to be on this planet, the fact remains that each of us has been given certain talents and gifts that are meant to be used throughout our lives. If you aren’t living with that fact in your mind, you need to experience a spiritual awakening and define how your special gifts can be nurtured to put you on the right path to a full and satisfying life of purpose.

The reverential worship and fear of Almighty God needs to be revisited by the people of this modern era. Indeed, many have forgotten the importance of having a deep and abiding respect for the Creator of the universe, which always results in a healthy respect for our fellow-man. To fear God is not a sign of ignorance or senselessness. Rather it is a sure sign of intelligence and knowledge. According to the writings of King Solomon, known as the richest and wisest man of his time, the fear of the Lord is wisdom. This means that fearing God is the wise thing to do. It shows that you and I have things in proper perspective. When we remember who God is, and see the worth and value of reverencing Him, it literally brings a more steady focus and sense of value to our own lives. When we fear God in truth, it affects the other areas of our lives as well.

When you read the Bible, it becomes very clear that God’s highest plan for us is LIFE. From the beginning He breathed His life into Adam. Over and over again He told Israel to follow His commandments so that they might really live. When Jesus came, He said one of the main reasons He came was that we would have life and have it abundantly, to the full, overflowing (John 10:10).

The mysterious Ages, secreted in Bible depths, are beginning to pervade modern awareness. The Bible contains numerous references to Ages substituted as worlds or other evasive symbols. Now we can know the length and breadth of tradition’s interpretative slant and access Cabbala now converted to recognizable meaning.

Driving home last night, I saw an SUV with the following on its back window in very large lettering: “White – American – Christian – Heterosexual – Pro-Gun – Conservative – Any questions?” I chuckled at how this person was clearly willing to identify him/herself with such specific labels. And I thought, “No, that doesn’t leave many questions.” And while this driver was obviously excited about telling the world all the labels that fit them, I find that doing just the opposite is very helpful. In other words, try to live free of labels and categories that neatly sum up who you are – for you are more than any label can convey.

The Father and Jesus are one. This passage opens the disciples’ thought to the Third Person of the Holy Trinity; the Person to remain after Jesus is gone from the earth. Unlike the Father and the Son – incarnate in Jesus – the Spirit is making a home in us. The Spirit of the Father, and of the Son, might be within, but it’s the Holy Spirit that is actually in us.

Fasting, certainly for Christians and Jews – as it’s known – is an outward sign, and an inward reality, of an act of worship; of seeking the LORD, generally in association with prayer. This article is not really about fasting, per se. Isaiah 58, likewise, is not really about fasting. It’s about *worship*, or alignment with the agenda that God sets, from the beginning.

Life’s challenges always trick us to think we need to have so much faith to overcome them. It always looks insurmountable the obstacle ahead and we start to doubt our ability to overcome. It is even difficult at that time to try and understand that we have God ever faithful watching over us.

Healing is a mystery. It sweeps through the body, mind or soul and does its work, independent of what we think or are prepared to do on the subject, though many healings are ‘magically’ assisted by our obedience. Healing is God’s portent, not ours. Science cannot claim it either. No, God possesses it; the power, whys and wherefores.

Godliness is a great virtue that can elevate an individual to greater height especially when combined with contentment. In this article, I will be sharing some wonderful benefits of acquiring these two virtues.
