If You Want Them To Commit To You, DO THIS!

**WARNING** This article is intended to cause a little provocation and in the end give you a little giggle. We humans are funny ol’ things after all!

I was deeply immersed in the Roman Catholic tradition until my early forties. It was then I took classes in energy based healing, a form of hands-on healing, that I was introduced to a spirituality that took me far from the confines of Catholicism. Although the first few years of the journey were difficult due to my fear of going away from God and ending up in hell, my life now is filled with love and peace.

The Bible is full of people that God called out of obscurity, less than desirable backgrounds, trained them, filled them with His spirit and thrust them into the deep end to perform His works and do His bidding. From Noah, Nehemiah, Esther, Joseph, Moses, Samuel to Peter, Paul, John then in this day and age, you and me. Many struggle to identify whether God has called them or not. If so they cannot ascertain the area of their calling. As a friend I am here to help you with some information to help you comprehend. I answer six critical questions.

How does the Christian fare with loss? Well, grief is the common response, but afterwards something else is possibly seen; God making meaning out of such death-felt experience. The typical Christian – you and I – do not react like Paul has above unless we’re blessed in the Spirit to receive such unconventional wisdom, which is insight beyond anything this regular world can understand.

My circle of friends consists predominately of people whose primary concern is spiritual growth and development. Most of us had been in involved in a traditional religion at one time, but are no longer. At some point we had been introduced to what some call the New Age movement or metaphysics.

When you lose sleep and agonize over things you are fearful that what you fear will come true. I would like to see worry as a form of faith. Faith believes that the positive outcome that you are believing and patiently waiting for will come to pass whilst worry being faith turned inside out is the belief that the negative thing you would like to avoid will happen. Without judging others too quickly remember the time when you were so concerned and bothered that sleep departed from your eyes only to discover the following day that the thing that was bothering you never happened and so it didn’t matter.

Why toil over making everything perfect, or building up a great company, or spending countless hours helping your kids figure out their math homework? What’s the point? I mean if everything is meaningless, why waste your time doing all of this?

One of the most common concerns among believers is trying to figure out the right path that God has planned for them. They pray that God will give them a clear direction, stating they want to serve God’s will and not waste their time going down the wrong path. The problem is, most of these people already have a direction in mind. They then get frustrated or confused when God doesn’t seem to be leading them down the path they think they should be going.

Praise and worship are a twin tool believers can use in the place of warfare. As we praise and worship God, we draw down the presence of God and things that we previously impossible will become possible.

In the midst of destruction and despair, like a beautiful flower growing out of the garbage heap, humanity is generating enormous amounts of Love. Remember that Reiki resurfaced during the last Atomic event that occurred in Japan in 1945. Through these experiences, in which there is suffering for many, there are also others learning to be more compassionate and perhaps even giving of their time, money and energy. People are questioning aspects of life that they never took the time to explore, even re-evaluating belief systems.

Have you ever been attacked by a sudden fear, where all manner of negative thoughts are flooding your mind and you feel the worst is about to happen? Fear attack is common but how you respond to it determines how long it will linger in your mind and the extent of its effect on you. And for you to respond positively, you need to understand how to overcome fear.
