What constitutes faith? Is it about what we believe to be true and can it hold all that we feel, including our moments of doubt?

Most people have heard of alchemy but there are many misconception about it. This article answers the question – what is spiritual alchemy?

Some people are impossible to forget; people who make a great difference to our lives, for better or for worse. There are those who see the best in us – our companions on our great adventure, the people who hold up the light for us, the keepers of our dreams. And there are those who seem to see or bring out the worst – the trouble makers, the manipulators, the naysayers. Whatever part these people play in our lives, for better or worse we remember them.

A comparison between holidays and trips with life’s journey to the next world. People prepare a lot for their trips or holidays yet many do not prepare well for the journey beyond this life.

Mindfulness is a meditative practice which seeks to help the practitioner to live in the moment. It is based on eastern meditative practices, specifically Buddhist techniques, which train the mind to experience life in the now. The philosophical belief that is the foundation of mindfulness practice is that human beings are much more than what they appear to be on the outside, and that this earthly experience we call life tends to cloak or veil our true nature from us. As a result, mindfulness meditation practices attempt to focus our minds away from the illusion of earthly life, and onto our true nature, our hidden self. The idea is that by living in the moment, and discovering our authentic self, we will feel and be happy.

This is a wonderful world filled with the goodness of God’s presence. But as Christ Jesus said, “According to your belief is it done unto you.” You can see things differently. You can see things spiritually and enjoy a life of peace, power and prosperity.

No longer are we given to hurting people, or receiving others in hurtful ways – though we will continue to transgress. We’ll live a dichotomy. Seeing hurt, we’ll respond. Restitution is possible because it’s necessary. Embarrassing as that is, we’ll buckle to the need of it, because it’s the Lord’s will. Being MADE TO LOVE is a catchphrase for the entire world to see; not that we’re the perfect exemplification of it – only Jesus is or ever will be.

The lord declares in this chapter that a person concentrating his mind on God, taking refuge and practicing yoga will be free from doubt and know him. The load promises Arjuna that he will impart knowledge together with realization (vijnana) knowing which, there will remain nothing more to be known. The lord says that among thousands of men, only 1% struggles for perfection and amongst that one %, only one% will be perfect and among them only one will know God or attain him.

Perhaps the biggest threat to the church is not Satan, but imbalance, for we’re all fond of taking our passionate spin on things, and there’s never been any shortage of churches and believers who’ve done this. Indeed, I’m sure Satan uses these passions of ours against the mission of God. Church balance is proposed and engendered when we get evangelism, edification, worship and social concern equivalently delivered.

When we hate someone, we will be quick to believe any negative thing we hear about that person. Often, common sense is thrown overboard in our zeal to feed our feelings of hatred. We want to justify our feelings  and when we hear something bad about the person, it provides just that.
