These words are often uttered. “I just cannot forgive myself when I remember what I did, and the memory of that continues to haunt me.” “Years ago, I said something that was really nasty and hurtful and spiteful and every now and again it stabs and pains my heart.” It is true. We cannot forgive ourselves, but what we might have said or done can be dealt with, and forgiven. How can a troubled mind be delivered and released from what is deeply troubling and bothering and causing much distress?
