Lately, I’ve been giving a lot of thought as to why I am out of sorts regarding my expectation that ‘the golden years,’ would be so much more enjoyable. Literally, I grew-up believing that after I had worked and raised my family; I could just kick back and enjoy the rest of my life with my wife, family, friends, and do the things I thought were important.

Astral Projection is one of the world’s phenomena that ever existed. From ancient times people used astral as a gateway between our world and the outer world. In older days, Astral Travel was meant only for the chosen one but today anyone can practice Astral Projection. If you have never heard about astral, it may seem to be unbelievable.

A few weeks ago in the New Yorker, Jeffrey Tobin took issue with Judge Sotomayor’s assertion that as a judge she would keep an “open mind.” He writes, “when it comes to interpreting the Constitution, one can scarcely imagine a worse qualification than an open mind. The issues are difficult and profound and require a lifetime of study to master, and one would hope that Justices arrive with heads full of firm ideas about the document they are charged with understanding.

We cannot be bystanders in this life. We cannot allow life to happen to us, that’s when it is hard. We must allow God to move. That is done by putting all of our trust in Him. Not because we have to, because He desires us to.

Many of us celebrate the Christmas Season, while not understanding its true significance. It is a festive time, enjoyed by family and friends, who enjoy the moment by eating, drinking, partying and giving gifts. But, it is wise, while we celebrate, to realize and remember what Christmas really portrays. The reason for Christmas stems from way back yonder, when God first created man to be His companion. God made man in His image and after His likeness, for the purpose of relationship and fellowship. Man’s body came from the dust of the ground, but his real essence came from the very breathe of the Almighty. God is a Spirit. This is what the BIBLE teaches. (John 4:24 KJV) Man, therefore, being made in the very likeness of God, is much more than just flesh and blood. Man is a spirit being, like his Creator. He lives in a physical body.

A problem can be very personal, relational, work-based or can be a minor issue. Whatever that is, it has a message for us, meaning that it has something to say to us. I don’t know anybody who has not come across a problem in his or her life. From a major problem such as a loss, to a minor one such as not being able to find where your new shirt is, a problem is a problem and it has a certain way of communicating things to us: Mostly about who we are at this moment, who we have been in the past and who we’d like to be in the future. Usually, common responses to a problem are as follows:

One of the truly great and inspiring facts which emerges from the entire Scriptures is the reality that Almighty God will never abandon His Chosen People. He will never walk away from Israel and choose another people. That is something the world has to come to terms with and the quicker it does so the sooner will certain issues be resolved. Do some consider that God is not strong enough to lift them up to where He wants them to be, rescuing them from whatever predicament they are in? Jesus has a word for the weary, wherever they are, and no matter how sore or pained or dark their situation. Jesus has a word, and sometimes all that is needed is a morsel of bread and a sip from His Cup!

Spirit’s contemplative thoughts are to try to get each of you to learn your own soul. In other words, we would love for you to dispense of what you feel is the right or wrong way to interpret any part of God and Spirit. We would ask that you learn not to be judging the actions of others if you do not know the root cause. We want you to be empowered all the time. You look for miracles in all sorts of places, but you quickly forget the fact that you went to sleep last night and woke up this morning to see a new day. That is a miracle in itself. Someone would testify that he went to sleep a nobody but when the day arrived he experienced promotion. A new day can bring good news. In one day one can be promoted from being a nobody to the presidency of a company or even a nation. Why does this happen? Because when your day arrives, you cannot be denied. You could have been delayed when your day of blessing has come.

Fairy tales and happily ever after. In a world full of anxiety, fear and uncertainty about the future, we long for a happily ever after. Seeking respite from our stressful lives, a Disney movie is sometimes just what we need. The Disney movie, Tangled, based on the story of Rapunzel, did not disappoint. In fact, it confirmed to me that as Christians, we are guaranteed a happily ever after.
