Sidharth Malhotra’s Candid Interaction with Sadhguru

A recent Amazon publication “Super Life Secret Codes,” provides insight about how people can cope with prophecies of doom related to December 2012, the approaching end of the Mayan Long Count Calandar. The author, Great Sun, had previously studied with a mystic who made a series of uncanny predictions about events taking place between 2005 and 2010 and also about 2012.

Modern science and education have erroneously taught us that we are solely responsible for our happiness, so the outcome has been that mankind is generally unhappy due to the myriad of seemingly unsolvable problems. This is due to the emphasis on fulfilling interpersonal needs based on Maslow’s Hierarchy – from the bottom up. Scientific discoveries are supposed to make our life a lot more enjoyable and easier. But this mentality has gotten the world into so much trouble.

Spiritual living is purposeful living. It is living God’s purpose. When you are living on purpose, your life must overflow with an abundance of goodness.

Stay on the course! You will need His help, wisdom, and strength to make it. He gave it to Moses and Jesus. He will give it to you. He, more than you can believe, wants you to succeed in life.

Have you ever been asked a tough question; and you knew that if you answered it honestly, it would offend lots of people? How did you respond? What kind of response did you get?

You could of course argue that truth generally is a noble thing, but I’m speaking here specifically of what in the Buddhist tradition is known as The Buddha’s Four Noble Truths. Whatever your spiritual beliefs, there are general principles that apply to most religions and philosophies and I find it helpful to reflect on different paths as a way of seeing the strands that have come from the same source so I offer this in that spirit.

When Moses came to the place of total surrender, God stepped in and revealed His plans. That surrender is not being a puppet but just acknowledging our wisdom, strength, and ways have limits and we can and want to say to God, “Not our way but your way, Lord.”

After Jesus’ temptation by Satan, angels attend. He would’ve been aware. Yet, we’re hardly ever aware of angels’ presence and their bidding on our behalves, but it is a biblical reality that they assist us at our and God’s behest.

All of us dream, most of us remember that we dream, and some of us use those dreams to guide us in life. What can dreams tell us and how can we use them better? It all starts with desire.

I’d be jesting if I ever said that we as people never have a trouble trusting God, because the plain fact is, when life gets tough, we do have problems trusting God each tremulous moment. We do waver.

Imagining a skydive as a metaphor for theology, we can see that what we jump out of the plane with rapidly becomes something else entirely. It has to reach the ground at some stage, and that’s its point. What use is theology if it can’t get to and survive on the ground, in the lives of real people?

Wouldn’t you want to know the God who loves you unconditionally, has forgiven you of ALL your sins and accepts you just as you are? If you don’t see God that way, then discover the truth of who God is and how He sees you.
