Jesus Did Not Come As an Angel – Jesus Came As a Man to Rescue Man From His Sin and Sins

Can you believe that God has the right word for you in your situation and circumstances? God the Father sent Jesus Christ into the world, at Bethlehem, through that young virgin called Mary. Jesus did not come as an angel, or an apparition, or a concept. Jesus came as a man to save and rescue mankind from his sins, and the consequences of sin. The life, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ has happened, and because Jesus is alive, He can be with us in our problems, pains, brokenness and despair. Jesus came that we may have life, real life, and have life in all its fullness and abundance.

No Matter What You Have Been Through, Or What You Are Presently Going Through, There Is An Answer

People go through times of strain and stress. A serious health problem can make you feel like something is attacking you, even making you almost lose hope in Jesus Christ. “Why is this happening to me?” A crushing disappointment can shake you, as though you were alone in a boat in the middle of a raging storm. Life may be harder than you ever expected it to be. God gives us resources to cope with pressures and difficulties – if we want His help. Jesus Christ comes to restore what has been lost, and repair what has been broken.

Aliens Unto Ourselves

Who we are we do not know. We identify with a false illusion. We are the great pretenders.

Our Thoughts Transcend Time and Space

Although my thoughts sometimes transcend time and are never heard from again, many have much better results than I. We all hear stories about how someone has had a feeling about another getting sick or in accident and knowing instantly there was an issue. Many times the individual will contact the person who is sick or injured and be surprised to discover their feelings were justified. The Aborigines of Australia, as well as many other native cultures believe in a sort of Voo Doo, where a person will stick in pin in a doll representing the person they desire to punish for some dastardly deed, and the person targeted, although sometimes thousands of miles away, will feet the pain and fall sick or injured as a result.

Do We Create Our Life?

Do we create our life? That is a question that has been pondered by mystics for centuries. We all have free will, it is a fact of nature and is not up for debate. Free Will isn’t something that can only be applied to certain circumstances and not to others, if we chose the alternative, by choosing that, we would be exercising free will. If we are free to choose whether to have a hot fudge sundae or a milk shake, then we are free to determine all things that come about in our lives. Free Will is static and unchanging, it isn’t something that is subject to our whims, it is a law of nature, one of the laws of Nature and Nature’s God. If we would choose to believe we don’t have free will in all things, we are still practicing free will in order to chose that option. We simply can’t remove ourselves from the reality of free will.

He Who Has Ears Let Them Hear

We must learn to listen and trust our inner guidance. There is a strong spiritual reason why our creator blessed us with two of them. Our lives will improve if we listen more and spoke less.

Spiritual Health Within Mental Illness

More and more in my spiritual walk I’ve come across spiritual leviathans who battle daily a mental nemesis. These people, in many cases, have come to accept, as Paul did, they have a thorn in the side. That is a spiritual miracle, right there.

God Interactions From Random Distractions

I met Sylvia who is in her sixties on Roe Highway, Leeming, today. Stranded. With car but lost. 30 kilometres off course. An hour late for her appointment. Panic stricken, due to a family dispute, it took a minute or so to help her slow down enough to understand her predicament. I was on the way to Rockingham to visit my parents, with my son in the car. The Lord urged me to stop. In her state, I wondered if she were genuine or not. But she was just panicked and afraid, so very vulnerable close to trucks on this busy highway, in some ways utterly unaware of the hazards around her.

Praying in the Spirit of Abeyance

My godliest prayers are the ones I’ve waited on for years; I keep praying them in the spirit of abeyance – I continue to wait and hope and dream what life might be like when certain relationships are reconciled. These prayers are not for stuff nor goals nor other acquisitions, but they’re prayers that hold the hope that separation and distance between friends and myself may diminish. God has had me pray these prayers, as I said, for years now. And the waiting continues.

What God Cannot Do Without Our Help

There are so many people I know, myself included, who already know plenty of life-changing truth, but do not apply it. If it wasn’t for God I’d be frustrated enough by now to give up, especially as it pertains to myself – so often a hearer and not a doer of His Word.

The Challenge of Evil

Evil has always been with us. It’s important to understand what it is and what each of us can do to counter it.

Count It All Loss and All Is Gain

Hundreds of wet pages, glued together by moisture, reflections from ten years ago. Ruined. Unsalvageable. Along with other precious items. Storm-damaged.
